If I see one more of you guys take a clear case of blatant misogyny and dismiss it as "heterosexual bullshit" as if both parties are to blame I am going to start biting ppl
#inspired by someone tagging a case of misogyny in custody courts as 'het gender wars'#as if gay ppl cannot contribute to misogyny. are you fucking stupid.#and it's incredibly dismissive towards the woman too. but you guys already fucking know that you just don't care#and this goes for saying 'lol hets r weird if you hate your partner just leave lol' to straight women in clearly abusive relationships#your marginalization on one axis does not negate your privilege on another or your ability to do harm to other marginalized ppl#lgbtq+#lgbt community#misogyny#and yes i know patriarchy is influenced by and largely upheld by heteronormativity#HOWEVER this does not mean straight women deserve the misogyny they face#talking
