[9:34] Tantalizingly simple, tragically ineffective. From everything I've seen love is not like that, like so much of the human experience, it is meaningfully subjective. Everyone has what love means to them, what is love & what isn't..

There is a book I really like called: What we talk about when we talk about love by Raymond Carver, bc it tells us what this looks like.

Talk about a ticking time bomb too, saw a couple implode after the wife finally woke-up to the fact her husband just buys her fav chocolates every occasion he needed to make her feel special . . i was somehow part of this unfortunate discovery, whoops, sorry but i ask questions. And this has happened to more than one marriage, incredibly fragile stuff. There are just things women try not to think about & bury deep in the recesses of their mind, all the while quietly becoming increasingly resentful of it. The way our conscience attacks intruders in Inception, we just don't like enemies to our synequanon predefined ideas of love & equal partnership.

I heard of The Giving Tree in December 2023, so fairly recently, but was not aware of the controversies behind it lol, though I did also find the alternative ending the same time.. What would be the purpose behind going to the other tree? To show that the man though old & nearing death has never matured all this time & remains unfaithful?

Lusaint: Joking I've been going round in circles just lately, it's like you finally understand me now but just don't hate me, cause I could never be the one you thought, but all the times you left me blind I was open, and you were the one who told me, "I don't think you know that the world is gonna be, the world is gonna be about me.." You were open that day, telling me everything is okay. But I think that we don't know when to say .. "You don't think you like me bc you think you're haunted, holding on to something. I thought you were joking, holding onto something cuz I can never hold on to you.." I've been smiling, holding on to nothing but to hope boy. But all I know is it's just the same old story, just the same spark cuz I'll never be the one you thought.

There is this ring to this song that it's like JESUS speaking, the part where it says: And YOU were the ONE WHO told me, "I don't think you know that the world is gonna be, the world is gonna be about ME.."

It so is. I knew I liked this song for some mysterious reason.
