I ended up being busy reading for a class assignment and some other stuff at home. Anyway, happy Chinese New Year, everyone! We have first: Seduced in the Sleepless City, and second: Love Letter from Thief X.
I'll say this again after all these years: Love Letter from Thief X still reminds me of Little Busters! by Key/Visual Arts Key. The fun and missions, as well as the original (season 1) six guys' personalities were always quite similar to the LB characters for me. Outside of their days jobs as regular workers, and night jobs as thieves, the more significant part to me became their usual antics as a group. Childhood friends who have gone through a lot with deeper cut stories behind their true selves. They're like and unlike the adult versions of the Little Busters! crew, yet also special to me.
I can't really say that Seduced in the Sleepless City really made much of an impression on me as much as LLFTX. Despite enjoying my favorite two from SITSC/SISC (because you don't really need to capitalize articles in acronyms), Yuzuki and Mirai, and ecen writing fanfics for both games, SITSC/SISC routes didn't quite have the capture that LLFTX did beyond season 1. However, it does remind you that Voltage was still trying to write stories during the time of their younger game development days. Young Voltage was not perfect; it was starting out with game creation. Yet, it is a game we can remember from time to time.
