*She gives her a choco-cookie* I've noticed that in some of your fanfiction narratives, you tend to emphasize the scars that Allen has on his body (in your last writing, Sunlight Kisses, I could notice it even more), and I'm particularly fond with the idea of how Kanda's fascinated by them, rediscovering the other's body over and over throughout the intimacy. Do you have any/some headcanon/s about this in particular? Have you ever considered the idea of Kanda having some sort of kink with them?

Tbh Allen’s scars or body in general is probably my favorite topic or central idea to write about in fics, and even more when it’s a Yullen fic. This is because I’ve always loved the idea of Kanda being if only a bit fascinated about Allen’s scars because: 1) given his body’s healing ability I love to think scars are kinda a foreign thought for Kanda and 2) because this is Allen we’re talking about so really, I’m a sucker for Kanda being fascinated by anything that makes Allen who he is, including yeah, his scars. Hence why I love writing Kanda discovering Allen’s scars through very intimate moments, because it’s like reading Allen’s story on his body. Also, I myself have a deep fascination for scars but anyway!!!! Having said this, I do have some headcanons!!!

•I got asked once why did I write Allen with so many scars and tbh, given Allen’s backstory and tendency to jump in front of danger to protect others, I like to believe he’s gathered at least a few of them.

• Scarred skin can become very sensitive so I love the idea of Allen being super sensitive in some body parts like, for example, his arm.

•Given this ^^^ I like to imagine Kanda kissing oh so softly these areas.

•Kanda tracing them with his fingers oh so very lightly in patterns to create shapes and Allen falling asleep with this.

•Body painting therapy. This is probably my favorite AU to go with this tbh because I’m a sucker for artist Kanda as well so. Kanda sitting Allen down or telling him to lie down when it’s a bad, anxious day. Kanda having a full shoebox of body paint and using it these days to help Allen. Kanda painting flowers growing from Allen’s scars or connecting them like some kind of constellations, Kanda creating full paintings when it’s a really bad day for Allen and Kanda letting himself be painted as well when he knows Allen needs to do something with his hands.

•Continuing this ^^^ Kanda running a hot bath for Allen to take the paint off once he’s calm. Kanda helping him and admiring and kissing every single scar in the process and then both of them cuddling to sleep.

•Kanda sometimes notices Allen staring at his own scars with something close to apprehension, so he starts carrying colored pens. If he notices this he’d just grab Allen’s arm and doodle something over the first scar he sees.

•Sometimes Kanda gets anxious as well and Allen just, grabs his hand and guides it to his arm. Let’s him trace his scars because it helps to ground Kanda and at the same time it grounds him because he’s helping Kanda.

•I also feel like there are days Allen just. Can’t stand to look himself in the mirror. So Kanda takes his biggest sweater and puts it on Allen, because while he wants to make him feel loved sometimes he just can’t force it so he simply stays by Allen’s side. They cuddle and watch TV.

As for kinks, I think scars are something extremely personal so I don’t see it as a possibility for a kink. Both Allen and Kanda would have a huge respect for scars in the sense that, they’d lavish them with love to generate acceptance (in their ship’s case). I do, however, love the idea of them having a fascination over marking the other.

I love to think Kanda has a fascination over Allen’s skin, talking about how pale it is, and given both their backgrounds I like the idea that both of them are at least a bit touch starved. Which means they can be very sensitive, which makes me think of the idea that both of them love to mark the other. But not exactly because of the scars, but this is a topic for another day hdkshdk

Hi! I just wanted to say that I love your fanfics (I read the ones I could find with #my writing on ur blog). I absolutely adore the fluff and the dynamics between all the characters, especially Allen and Kanda. Two of my favourites are Name A Flower and Body Paint Therapy. I don't have enough space here to cry about them so I'll just say that they really brightened my day. I love how you capture Kanda's awkward and soft sides because I don't see enough of those so thank you

( T  ^ T) I’m always so nervous about the way I write the dynamics between characters and I’m very insecure about the way I write Kanda because I always feel I can’t get him just right? But this really motivates me to keep writing about them!! I’m actually planning on posting a few of the Yullen requests this week and I’m even more excited now!! Thank you so so much for this!!! (´∀`)
