Madame Margaux’s Restaurant
Cerise – aka “Madame Margaux” the owner and manager - Struck out on her own and learned how to create gourmet meals within the Sunbeam Ruins, opening and running several previous restaurants. Arrived in the Starfall Isles after rumors of some interesting new dishes and of a potential rising star chef. She meets and joins the clan post-Magus fallout. - Comes in contact with Charlotte Tuile, often just called Tuile who is pâtissier, a specialized pastry chef from the Shifting Expanse. - She falls in love with both the Isles and the beautiful but modest Tuile, deciding to open up the biggest restaurant she has ever run within the Observatory. She took up residence with the Starwood Clan both due to most of her employees being part of the clan but also to remain close to Tuile. She also maintains a smaller coffee shop for the many researchers and mages within the observatory, keeping it open 24/7 thanks to her shifting staff and a few automaton golems she procured from the Starwood Clan. - Cerise is a strict but fair boss to her employees and always makes sure they are well cared for. She tolerates no trouble from either her staff or customers and can be a fright to behold despite her small size. She also comes off as far more mature than her truly young age and appearance, having gained much wisdom from her many previous culinary and business ventures. - She originally came up with the “Madame Margaux” persona to help sell her fine foods, she also adores dressing up and acting.
Charlotte Tuile – goes by “Tuile” Pastry Chef and Dessert Specialist - Originally from a small clan in Shifting Expanse, she came to work with the Starwood Clan as their main chef. As additional dragons took up work preparing meals for the clan at the observatory she was able to focus on her passion: pastries and other desserts. - Tuile is a simple gal who just loves to practice her craft and treats cooking as a true art form. She takes pride in her work from even a simple lunch sandwich to her more masterful desserts. She is happy to please and it always delights her how much the clan appreciates her meals regardless of the amount of skill they take to make. - She dedicates a lot of energy to her work, focusing more on making sure her ingredients are top notch and everything is prepared just right. This often leaves her little time to worry about her appearance or stress levels. She also will often work herself to near exhaustion but becomes better at taking care of herself once Cerise joins the clan. She also begins crushing equally on the beautiful fae, both unknowing of the other’s feelings and this leads to her dedicating a bit more to her appearance. She pushes herself even harder to create dishes worthy of the famous “Madame Margaux” that was Cerise’s famous public identity. She finds surprising delight in letting the fae help her plan outfits or do her hair, quickly bonding over the sessions as easily as they do in the kitchen. She goes from wearing basic outfits she was able to scrap together to beautiful and surprisingly still practical ones gifted to her by her crush.
Cappuccino – goes by “Chino/Cino” Barista and Coffee Expert - Comes from a line of coffee makers based in the Sunbeam Ruins and was an on and off business partner of Cerise’s throughout her business ventures. (Also distant relative of Lux.)  He’s ran several small stands now and then, serving all kinds of scholars. He also bakes but more as a hobby despite being rather good at it. Using his skill to help his own small business keep afloat. - Was called in by Cerise to help her open up a café once her new Starfall based restaurant took off. He actually loves working the café himself and getting to know their patrons. Chino deeply enjoys brewing and serving drinks himself, assuring the finest quality for their customers. Being a morning dragon he often works the busy early shifts where he easily gets into the zone. - Chino is a rather laid back dragon, very few things phase him and he can remain surprisingly zen under severe pressure. Unlike most of his business partners and friends, he is quite hard to rile up and is incredibly forgiving. However he doesn’t take betrayal lightly and will often use the silent treatment against those who have lost his trust.
Claret – sometimes called “Clara or Claire” Head Brewer and Wine Expert (Previously Adrienne) - Originating from the Sunbeam Ruins, Claret quickly grew tired of her mother’s constant gushing over every aspect of the light flight. She was far closer to her father, a well-known winemaker who taught her everything she knows. She met Cerise and Chino while they all still lived within the Ruins, often working with Cerise and holding meetings in Chino’s small pop-up cafes or temporary coffee shops across the Promenade. She devoted herself to her craft and often found  working with Cerise helped her sales remarkably. When the fae reached out to her about a new and even bigger establishment in the Observatory of the Starfall Isles, she jumped at the chance to get out of the light domain. - Claret like many wine makers enjoys the finer things in life. She is a close friend of Cerise and shares similar taste in fashion and cuisine. She may come off a bit haughty and short tempered at first but once someone earns her trust she will defend their honor to the bitter end. - She may be slowly developing a crush for the hot-headed and stubborn chef of Cerise’s restaurant.
Sienna – sometimes called “Cina” Head Chef - Born in the Ashfall Wastes, her family tried to push her into becoming a blacksmith like the rest of her kin but she found far more love in the culinary arts. The last straw was the rising rebellion in the Wastes which she chose to flee from, unable to stand the chaos and pressure. She took up traveling, studying food from across all of Sorneith and took up work as a nomadic chef who earned her keep via cooking. - She uses her natural fire magic to prepare most of her dishes, preferring everything hot both in temperature and spice. She eventually runs into Cerise who hires her as her new restaurant’s head chef. She also meets Solkus who becomes like a brother to her (despite his playful flirting due to being quite the “ladies man.”) She enjoys his company and teases him back despite not being remotely interested. Solkus also helps her with crafting colder dishes, using his natural ice magic in combination with her fire magic. She also enjoys helping him in his artisan work when he needs a hotter touch. - Out of all of the restaurant partners, she’s the most hot-headed like many fire dragons. She has a short fuse and is quite loud and outgoing. Despite her attitude sometimes rubbing others the wrong way, she’s usually a pretty cheerful and boisterous sort that brings good energy to the whole restaurant.
