Lucie Shelbourn née St Clair-Stannard 23rd September 1955 - ­8th April 2019. Ruskin School of Drawing and of Fine Art, University of Oxford (as it was know then) 1973 ­- 1976. Loving thoughts and deep feelings to Lucie's dear husband Richard and their beautiful family. It was so kind of you to capture your love for Lucie in this way, and to let us know of her passing. It is always sad for us to learn of the loss of a Ruskin student. Yet such news equally has always reached us from other Ruskin students and it is truly heartening to know that long held friendships have been maintained between our alumni, with all that those years of shared experiences and memories will have given each of you. I attach a photograph of your beautiful bouquet within the Drawing Studio here at the High Street, and hope that this may bring back more memories of working in that studio with Lucie. The Drawing Studio is a beautiful space and all of us here love that it has been shared by generations of Ruskin artists.
