Hello everyone!

Just as promised we’re releasing 20 new words and 10 themes. These are the extra or on-the-side prompts where if you do not like or can’t do any of the current prompts, these are available.

All words have a definition attached to it!

Again I apologise for the inconvenience that were caused or will be with the relations between each prompts of the daily ones and these alternative ones.

Uses for this could be, combining any alternative content with current weekly themes, or choosing any of these on their own, or together. Whatever you guys would like to do.

WORD PROMPTS

1. Symphony

An elaborate musical composition for full orchestra, typically in four movements, at least one of which is traditionally in sonata form.

2. Emacity

The desire or fondness for buying things, or more generally for spending money.

3. Rain

The condensed moisture of the atmosphere falling visibly in separate drops.

4. Adomania

The sense that the future is coming too quickly.

5. Exceed 

Be greater in number or size than (a quantity, number, or other measurable thing).

6. Foible

A minor weakness or eccentricity in someone's character.

7. Celebration

A social gathering or enjoyable activity held to celebrate something.

8. Meliorism

The belief that the world can be made better by human effort.

9. Berserk

Out of control with anger or excitement; wild or frenzied.

10. Natsukashii

Of some small thing that brings you suddenly, joyously back to fond memories, not with a wistful longing for what’s past, but with an appreciation of the good times.

11. Anxiety

A feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease about something with an uncertain outcome.

12. Tacenda

Things better left unsaid; matters to be passed over in silence.

13. Motorcycle

A two-wheeled vehicle that is powered by a motor and has no pedals.

14. Saccharine

Excessively sweet or sentimental.

15. Procrastination

The action of delaying or postponing something.

16. Finifugal

Hating endings; of someone who tries to avoid or prolong the final moments of a story, relationship, or some other journey, like the Zexal fandom.

17. Farm

An area of land and its buildings, used for growing crops and rearing animals.

18. Defenestrate 

The act of throwing someone or something out of a window.

19. Tomato

 Actually a fruit.

20. Tatemae

What a person pretends to believe; the behaviour and opinions one must display to satisfy society’s demands.

THEME PROMPTS

1. The language of flowers.

Flowers have many different meanings. They can represent love, friendship or even hate. Incorporate flowers into your piece somehow.

2. Seven deadly sins (or just one of them)

Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, Wrath, Lust, Envy, Pride. Incorporate at least one sin into your work or all of them.

3. My deepest regrets

Show off a regret that a character has before, during, or after the events of Zexal. Alternatively show the regrets characters could have had but didn’t show/wasn’t elaborated on.

4. A Villain’s day in the Limelight

Don Thousand? Mr. Heartland? Black Mist? Fallguys? Some random Number Cards holder? There are many villainous characters in Zexal who deserve more attention. Now is your time to show them off in however you choose! What would happen if they had accomplished their goals? Or how do they spend day to day life?

5. The card (symbol) that shows our bond.

Use two characters and show them sharing or talking about something that represents their bond. Kaito and Haruto have Neo Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon. The Kamishiro twins have their rings. If they don’t have one canonically, make a card/symbol for them.

6. Love and loss.

Some things were lost during the Numbers war, but other things were gained. Give a tribute to those fallen friends or anything gained from such hard times.

7. Stars in the night sky

Astrology and stars play a big part in Zexal. Incorporate some aspect of it in your work or just go stargazing.

8. The ties of blood run deep

Zexal touches many themes about family. Show this off by elaborating on some of the familial relationships in the show or write about characters becoming parents. Feel free to also show off head canon parents, like the Tenjo’s mother or Barians’ parentage/siblings.

9. Personality Swap!

Show off two (or more!) characters swapping personalities! Can be AU or there can be some Astral magic in the air that everyone has to deal with!

10. Role Swap!

AU prompt where two characters swap roles during the show. Is Kotori a Numbers Hunter? Is Durbe one of the Arclights? What happens differently?
