having found out you loved flowers, hanbin made it his mission as your boyfriend to buy you flowers whenever he could, which was almost every other week

most of the time he would gift them to you himself but on the days he couldn't, he made sure they were delivered to you

your home was slowly turning into a botanical garden but you loved seeing the colourful flowers brighten up your home

hanbin somehow always knew when to get a new bouquet for you and when you asked him, he had said the owner of the local flower shop he buys from was kind enough to tell him how long they would usually stay alive for

"What sort of flowers should I get you next week? We did lillies last time, how about tulips, perfect for spring." he suggests showing his whisker smile that had you weak

your boyfriend tried to get different flowers each time and would even go as far as seeing what they mean and writing a little note on that

if you were around him, he had to be holding your hand in some way or form

he has always been a complete gentleman to you too

this little display of affection melted your heart each time you felt his soft lips place a short kiss to your hand

winter had come in and you and jiwoong decided to take a walk to a nearby park to enjoy the snow a bit despite how incredibly cold it was outside

"My hands are freezing." you pout trying to get some friction in your hands rubbing them together but it was no use

grabbing hold of your hands, your boyfriend rubbed his hands with yours in an attempt to warm them up before laying a delicate kiss to both of your hands

"My poor baby, I'll keep you warm angel." he coos at you softly as he proceeds to then put your hand in his pocket with his hand

you could name a thousand reasons as to why hao was absolutely perfect and what little things you liked about him

one being how he had this habit of brushing your hair out of your face and then just smiling at you

"And so I told the supervisor-" you abruptly stop mid sentence as your boyfriend brushed your hair out of your face

hao was an attentive person and whenever you spoke he made sure all his attention was on you whilst maintaining eye contact

you had been telling him about your day at work and ofcourse he made sure to listen to you but a stray hair falling into your face distracted him from admiring your beautiful features

raising his hand, he delicately brushed the hair out placing it behind your ear

"Continue talking, I was listening. Your beautiful face distracted me." he says as he smiled warmly making you blush

matthew tended to zone out alot sometimes or just have a short attention span when he wasn't interested in something which would lead him to busy himself

he always thought your hands were the the perfect compliment to his and constantly complimented how pretty your hands were

this brought in a new habit of his where instead of playing with his own hands, whenever he was holding yours he would gently just play with them or the rings you had

sometimes if he gets bored he starts doodling little shapes or words on your palm with his fingers

on certain occasions he would mindlessly hold your hand in his and start drawing cute things on your hand using a pen and you were happy to let him do so because you loved seeing him happy

for all you cared, matthew could draw on your face but seeing his smile and how happy he got, you could never stay mad at him

you were able to proudly show off the doodles matthew did because happy matthew = happy life (yes it rhymes)

it wasn't a secret that one of your favourite qualities about taerae was his voice

it always a source of comfort for you and he knew you loved it too

you weren't the biggest fan of thunder and your boyfriend knew that so he always tried his best to be with you whenever there were thunderstorms to help you sleep

this night was no different, it was heavily raining and you couldn't sleep with all the commotion of the loud thunder outside

curled up into a ball, you cover your ears with your eyes tightly shut silently praying for taerae to come quicker, as if on cue, you feel him hold you as he rubs your back comfortingly

"I'm here angel, shh." he says softly laying you both down as you lay on his chest

inside was a valentines limited edition necklace from Tiffany & Co that you had looked at slightly longer than usual whilst shopping together the other day

pouting not believing him, you can't help but hold back tears seeing as how he was able to even notice you eyeing that necklace

"Ricky, thank you so much for this gift baby, but this is the fifth one this week- and it's only Wednesday." you tell him as you laugh softly seeing his shy smile as his ears go red in embarrassment

"I know but you deserve to be spoiled. And that's final." he tells you leaving a short peck on your cheek before helping you put the beautiful necklace on

zhanghao had brought you on a date to a new café that recently opened. everything was great; the service, the vibes, the food and especially your boyfriend. you thought nothing could ruin this moment until a waiter decided to come back to your table right after taking your orders.

the waiter didn’t even look at you and went straight to zhanghao. “you’re really cute, can i have your number?” zhanghao was really shocked, now very uncomfortable and looking at you for help. he tried to brush the waiter off by saying “i’m sorry, i’m kind of in the middle of a dat-” the waiter put a hand on his shoulder.

“i know we can work it out.” the waiter said, smiling at him. he pushed their hand off, standing up obviously annoyed. “you shouldn’t just touch people like that. let’s go babe.”

a worker came up to you both, smiling as they look at the product in your hand. “oh, this product is very good for a cutie like you!” they say, beaming to hanbin who was now laughing trying to brush them off, awkwardly shifting to you.

“you should give me your number and maybe i can tell you about our promotions.” they continue, offering their phone to him. “haha, no worries.. i actually have somewhere to go now!” hanbin took your hand, running out the store in a flash.

his mood sullens until they offer the pack back to him “you can have this in exchange for your number.” they state, completely ignoring you. he was caught off guard by the abrupt bold move from a stranger.

gunwook looked to you, eyes signalling for help. you caught onto this and went in-front of him “sorry, he doesn’t have a number.” you pass by them, pulling gunwook along with you to another convenience store.

taerae had prepared a cute little picnic date for you two to get away from work stress and spend more time together. he helped lay out the mat and the food that he made beforehand. while munching away on his sandwich, he noticed someone in the distance.

“they have a nice bag.” he says, pointing to the bag. you nod in agreement when the person that owned the bag came up to you. “sorry, i just happened to notice you staring.” they say, shyly smiling “oh, i’m so sorry!” taerae apologised profusely for staring.

“it’s okay, i think you’re quite cute.” the statement made taerae laugh, smiling as he thanked them. “i just thought your bag was cool!” he mentioned, his hand forming a ‘thumbs up’. they smile, thanking him before asking him for his number. he tilted his head “oh, do you sell this bag? i don’t think you should be selling them with your personal number.”

immediately, he grabbed your hand and ran far away. “gyuvin, what was that for?” you ask, slowing down to catch your breath. gyuvin paced around, checking every corner to make sure the coast was clear.

“i’m gonna call 911.” he stated, absolutely mortified. before he could dial the number, you snatched his phone away. he tried getting it back but you stopped him. “they didn’t do anything, gyuvin.” you say, shaking your head while crossing your arms. gyuvin held his hands to his hips “hey, i could’ve gotten kidnapped!”

in another attempt to get your boyfriend’s attention; they speak up “do you think i could get your-“ jiwoong shushes them with one finger on his lips before turning back to you, smiling. “where were we?”

“i hope you accept my feelings.” they say, shyly looking down. yujin just stares at the letter before placing the letter back into their hands. “no, i like them.” he said, looking at you. “i can be better than them.” they remarked, giving you a glare.

“no you can’t.” he said with a blunt expression, standing up. he offered his hand to help you up before picking up his bag and moving to another quiet place “we won’t be disturbed there.”

it wasn't often that your boyfriend jiwoong got overly clingy, but it was even less often that it happened while you were trying to work. like usual, you had left your paper until the last day and you were trying to get it done at a timely pace, not wanting to spend your night hunched over your laptop with a cup of coffee to keep you company throughout the night.

but jiwoong insisted on having your attention; he was just trying to get you to take a much needed break. he could tell you were getting restless in the same spot, and that couldn't be good for your quality of work. "c'mon darling, just a five minute break." he suggested, tugging on your arm lightly as he took note of your bouncing leg.

"kim jiwoong." you deadpanned, not upset or anything, just frustrated with your paper and lack of time management skills. you didn't mean to come off harsh so you considered quickly apologizing, until you saw your boyfriend with a playful grin on his face, and before you could ask why, his mouth was opening.

"might as well get used to saying my last name," he grabbed your hand with his, playing with your fingers momentarily, "especially since one day it'll be yours too." you couldn't help the blush that creeped up on your face as you finally shut your laptop for a moment, turning to face the bold boy you had grown to love.

"kim jiwoong, you really are something else."

you and zhang hao often found yourselves sitting in a comfortable silence; sometimes accompanied by the faint hum of the tv or a quiet melody playing from the speakers as you each did your own things. zhang hao had found himself a comfy spot in the corner of the couch, glasses perched on his nose with a blanket wrapped over his legs and a book in hand, and you were scrolling through whatever interested you on your phone.

you had seen some sort of trend going on— people calling their partners by their full names as opposed to the usual go-to pet names, and you couldn't help yourself. you had to try.

"hey zhang hao," you started, looking up at the boy who immediately pulled his eyes from the story in front of him, a look of concern on his face. he couldn't help it though; that was out of character for you, and he knew if he had done something you'd just tell him. you two were good like that. so he immediately assumed something was up with you, "everything okay, my love?"

his concern was cute, you couldn't lie. his caring nature always made your heart flutter, especially in times like this where he is just being overly cautious. in your moment of silence he had gotten up, bringing his blanket with you as he sat beside you and draped it over both your legs, asking if you wanted to talk about anything.

"oh lovely," you started, a smile pulling at your lips, "i just wanted to see how you'd react, it's a trend of some sort." he only laughed and shook his head, "well now you're stuck with me here, i'm not moving back over there."

in an attempt to have a cute couple bonding moment, you and your boyfriend hanbin had decided it would be a good idea to try and bake something together. he insisted it would go great, but now that he had flicked flour at you, you were seeing his real motive.

"sung hanbin," you put your hands on your hips, voice stern yet still playful; you weren't sure how seriously he could take you when you had a white handprint on your cheek and flour dusting your shirt. "y/n," he teased, standing up straight and giving you a small bow. the two of you stood there for a moment exchanging mischievous looks before hanbin extended his hand out, "may i have this dance, m'lady." it was only then that you took note of the slow song fading in over the speakers.

deciding to drop your act, and opt in on his, you took his hand graciously, "i'd be honored."

it was times like this that you were thankful for your boyfriend's extensive dance training as he took the lead with ease, slowly dancing around the kitchen with you in his arms, breaking into fits of laughter every once in a while. with little to no warning hanbin had spun you, resulting in a less than gracious whip around from you before he dipped you slightly with his arm on the small of your back.

the two of you pulled away giggling as he brought his hand up to caress your cheek, "you have something here," he laughed, lightly wiping the flour off your cheek, "hmm, i wonder who did that."

matthew ;

"hi baby," matthew smiled, pulling you into a hug as he walked through the door. you quickly were enveloped by his scent and warmth as you relaxed into his touch, "hi matthew," you said simply.

you hadn't thought much about your words, but it seems the lack of a pet name really caught your boyfriend off guard, a pout quickly replacing his bright smile. "matthew? just matthew?" he questioned, almost in disbelief. sure he was being a little dramatic, but he thought he had every reason to be. "hmph," he crossed his arms, turning away from you, "i see how it is."

you couldn't help but laugh at your boyfriend's childish, yet endearing antics. it was one of the many things you loved about him. "how what is?" you tried to coax a confession out of him, just to see if he was feeling stubborn or not. your question was quickly answered as you were met with silence. as much as you thought this side of matthew was entertaining, you really just wanted to see his smile again.

you placed a quick peck on his cheek and he immediately softened at the gesture; his arms fell to his sides before wrapped around your waist, preventing you from escaping too far which caused you to smile. "all better?" you questioned, looking up at the boy.

"depends," he hummed, playing with the hem of your shirt, "are you gonna call me matthew again?" as much as you wanted to play along a bit longer, you really missed your boyfriend and just wanted to spend time with him, "you're so cute baby," you cooed, watching his face heat up at the nickname.

you had been looking forward to today all week— you and taerae had planned a picnic date now that the weather was warming up and you were thrilled. you couldn't think of a better way to spend the afternoon; sat on a blanket with your boyfriend eating snacks and chatting and watching people pass by as you made conversation.

you had told taerae to meet you there, giving you the perfect opportunity to set everything up before you watched him walk across the field of your local park. "hi my sunshine," he beamed as you got up to hug his taller frame

"hi taerae~" you dragged out the last syllable which caused him to smile at the cute mannerism. he brought his hand up to ruffle your hair, "i like the way you say my name," it was your turn to smile, a blush rising to your cheeks as you repeated his name a few more times.

this time he took your hand in his as you both walked back to the nicely laid out blanket in the grass, "c'mon now, don't wear it out."

the two of you got comfortable on the ground, enjoying the sunny day and slight breeze that went by. at some point you found yourself with your head in taerae's lap as his hands carded through your hair, and there is nowhere you'd rather be.

ricky ;

you were always impressed with your boyfriend's language capabilities; his fluency in multiple languages always stunned you, but even more so now that you were trying to learn a language yourself. you felt bad that ricky was always accommodating to you, and so, behind his back, you had begun learning chinese a little while ago. and it was not an easy task, to say the least.

you spent all your free time studying, and while you hadn't gotten far in conversational skills, you had figured out one thing— how to confess to the boy. sure, you had professed your love for him on multiple occasions, but this would be special, a sign of your affection in his mother tongue. and so as you sat there next to your boyfriend one evening, you thought it would be a good time to practice.

taking a deep breath and trying to remember the correct tones, you attempted the confession, "shen quanrui, wǒ xǐ huān nǐ," you managed to stutter your way through, much less smoothly than you had practiced, but you managed. you tried to read the expression on your face to see if you had said it correctly, but before you knew it he was cupping your face and pressing a kiss to your lips.

"so you understood me?" you questioned, a small smile tugging at your lips. soon enough the boy was spewing back responses in chinese, faster than you could keep up with at your very basic skill level. "woah woah, slow down, i'm not that good yet." you chuckled.

"well you've got yourself a new tutor then," he smiled, pulling you into his side, "god i love you." he mumbled, more so to himself than you. but you were just glad he got the message.

gyuvin ;

"kim gyuvin," you sighed, shaking your head at the state you had found your boyfriend in. you had only left him alone for a few minutes, but by the time you had come back he had somehow managed to cover himself in the paints spread out on the palette; at this point he had more paint on him than you had gotten on the canvas.

you had run to the other room for just a moment, needing to grab your bag with a couple extra paint brushes to finish up your painting for your art class. gyuvin had insisted earlier in the day to keep you company while you painted, and it was appreciated. but you could tell he was getting antsy just sitting there, and you supposed that's how he ended up looking like a kindergartener's finger painting.

"y/n," he mocked back, a playful tone accompanying his hands on his hips as he looked at you with a smlie. "i'd like to think i'm much prettier than your painting." he gestured to his frame, highlighting the paint that he had seemed to trip into. "maybe if you gave me attention i wouldn't have run around and tripped." his matter-of-fact tone made a laugh escape your lips.

"is that what the problem is?" you paused as he made his way closer to you, "you're covered in paint don't you dare," your threat was empty, but you tried reasoning with him regardless. "call me a cute name again then, my name isn't as fun."

you sighed, attempting to hold him at an arms length as his lips were comically puckered up. "yeah yeah, my cutie lovely sweet boyfriend, if you come near me with your wet paint covered body, we are gonna have problems." he carefully placed a kiss on your cheek, managing to not get you covered, "good enough for now."

"gunwook c'mere," you called your boyfriend over to the couch that you had gotten quite comfy on, wanting to spend some time with your boyfriend. you didn't see the pout plastered on his face until he sat down next to you, his eyes looking like that of a lost puppy.

"not even wook?" it took you a few moments to realize what he meant by the question before connecting the dots— you hadn't called him a cute nickname like normal, and now he was sat next to you sulking as if it were the end of the world. and god was it ever cute.

you cleared your throat for a moment as you shook your head, "silly me," you started, catching his attention, "i forgot the most important part," you grabbed his hand, giving it a tight squeeze, "my gunwook!" you enthused, watching the smile spread across his cheek wider than you had ever seen.

“When did you get here?” Ricky questioned. “And how long have you been listening?”

“I got here like two minutes ago, while you were flirting or arguing or whatever.” He shrugged.

“Why did you come?” The blonde asked, a little irritated with his best friend.

“Oh, yeah. Just came to tell you that we’re all going to the pool later on and then we’ll get dinner, so be ready soon.” They both nodded and the brown haired exited the room.

“Maybe Gyuvin is right, it would be easier for us to share. Only if it’s okay with you.” Ricky spoke.

Y/n was laying on a sun lounger by the pool, by her side were Zhang Hao and Matthew, they were talking and joking; the boys teasing her.

“Yeah, yeah, laugh at my misery all you want.” The girl pouted.

“Things would be so much easier if you confessed to him, but you’re a coward.” The oldest spoke, rolling his eyes.

“I’m almost 100% sure he likes you. Like, he laughs at your jokes, which are awful by the way.” He got hit on the arm while Zhang Hao laughed. “It’s true!”

Both of them made good points. To be honest, she had noticed some things like how he liked hugging her a little longer or how he held her pinky when there was a crowd around.

Y/n never thought much of it since they had a very close and tight friendship.

But now she started to wonder for how long he’s been acting like this and if it had another meaning than only been a good best friend.

“Maybe you’re right, maybe he likes me and I’ve been clueless the whole time.” Y/n looked at them while getting to that conclusion.

You were talking about your days and how you had been copping with all the stress and pression you were having, when you spotted an ice cream truck on one side making you stop in your tracks.

Bur you were feeling playful that day, so instead of asking him directly you wanted to test him a little bit. You had recently watched a tik tok were you just needed to give your hand to your partner and see what they did with it, so you wanted to try it out.

As he looked at you confused when you extended your hand towards him, he figured you just wanted some extra affection so he held your hand into his firmly making you blush a little but not distracting yourself from your aim you proceeded.

notes: this is actually a combination of a couple of requests i got for zhang hao w these prompts, so i combined them :') hope that's okay!

"you had a dream about me?" your friend, zhang hao, inquired. he couldn't hide the curiosity in his voice, wondering what your subconscious brain got up to when it came to him. could you blame him?

you shook your head, attempting to make it seem like no big deal as the embarrassment ate away at you before you had even said anything. you didn't need your new friend knowing that you dreamed about him at all, let alone what it was about, but it was too late for that.

you and zhang hao hadn't gotten off on the best foot a few months ago, you didn't love the crowd he hung out with and in turn, you didn't exactly wish to interact with him much. but when you had spent a day with him, both volunteering at an event in town, you realized he wasn't all that bad, and that you actually clicked way better than you had imagined; and that's how you got here.

apparently your feverish denial of the dream made it that much more suspicious, zhang hao's expression was almost unreadable, but you could tell he was determined to get it out of you.

sure, you could lie and say it was something unimportant, but that was the problem, you couldn't lie. at least not to him. much to your dismay, the boy could see right through you in just about every situation you had encountered in the last few months, and you were sure this would be no different.

all this time thinking and you couldn't come up with a good response, settling with a "maybe," as you tried to stop your cheeks from heating up at just the thought of the dream, and of zhang hao being aware of it.

"surely it wasn't nothing, you wouldn't be blushing over nothing," he said matter-of-factly, his arm came to rest behind your shoulders, the contact only making your blush worse.

flustered, you got defensive, "shut up," you jokingly whined, smacking his arm as you tried to back yourself out of the situation, to no avail.

something in his demeanor had changed in the last few minutes, his eyes darkening and even his posture had shifted. when did you start feeling so small next to him?

you couldn't help but notice the way his eyes looked over you, like you were something to be had, to be desired; and you couldn't help but want to be wanted by him, was that so bad?

"make me." he said simply, trying his hardest to predict your next actions.

as if every sane thought had simultaneously left your head, you did something you never thought you would. you kissed him. you kissed zhang hao. and god, it felt great.

the worry of him not liking you like that quickly left your head as the kiss got more heated, his hand pulling you in by the small of your back before finding it's way into your hair, tugging on the strands. you couldn't hold back the gasp that left your mouth, leaving a perfect gap for zhang hao to lick in to your mouth.

you're not sure really what happened, but you had quickly ended up straddling the boy, legs on either side of his as you let your hands rest at his shoulders for stability.

as the kiss got more intense you found yourself having to pull away to catch your breath, a worried look crossing zhang hao's face. "if you want to stop here, we can. i don't want to do anything you don't want to." he quickly reassured you, even though you didn't need it. "just needed to breath," you smiled, "i want this, don't worry about that."

he only nodded in contentment before continuing, "so about that dream?" he questioned, making you very aware of how little you could hide on your face earlier.

"why don't i just show you what happened in my dream?" you suggested, readjusting yourself in his lap.

he tried to contain his excitement, trying not to scare you off, "i think that's a great idea."

you took that as a green light to lean back in and connect your lips, memorizing the way his felt on yours, the way it felt to be so close to him. your dream was nothing in comparison to the real thing. your dream hadn't accounted for the way he looked at you or the way his hands gripped your waist. and you definitely didn't account for the feeling of your lips between his teeth as he lightly pulled away, leaving you whining every time.

at some point you had subconsciously started grinding your hips down onto him, trying to get any friction you could, and zhang hao couldn't help the smug expression that was plastered across his face watching you rut against him.

"what happened to that innocent person from a few months ago, huh? the one who was scared of me and my friends?" the rhetorical question leaving his mouth made you realize what you had been doing, immediately stopping as you flushed a deep red.

"don't let me stop you." he breathed out, "in fact," he paused for a moment to readjust you in his lap, leaving you straddling just one thigh now, "why don't you let me help you out?"

your head spun at the implications, fully shutting down at the action itself. you were already a mess, and the now direct pressure from his thigh was not helping in the slightest. but that was just how he wanted you, and deep down you knew that.

he looked at you expectantly as you tried to collect your thoughts, waiting for you to resume your actions at your own pace. you only lasted another moment before your lips were back on his and your hips were rolling against his body again.

just when you thought the feeling couldn't get any better, zhang hao took it upon himself to flex his thigh, bouncing it against you every time your hips came back down onto him. it wasn't long before you had soaked through your shorts, leaving a pool of your arousal on his jeans, and he couldn't help but be thrilled.

"god," you breathed out, getting closer to your release before he had even touched you. "i'm close." your voice was quiet, trying to keep yourself from whining too loudly which only boosted his ego further. you couldn't help but bury your face in his neck as he held you down on his thigh, the extra pressure causing your whole body to shake as you swore you started seeing stars.

helping you ride out your high, a smile tugged at zhang hao's lips "you're so bad for me, and god, i love it." he let his thoughts leave his lips as he aimlessly let his hands roam your exposed skin, loving the way he could feel you burning up, all because of him.

"i should be the one saying that," you voiced, finally catching your breath as you moved to sit beside zhang hao, leaning into his side. his arm came around you, holding you close as he pressed a kiss to your temple, "so how'd that compare to your dream?"

you didn't even know where to begin, sure tonight was a change in your dynamic in that sense, but it also opened a whole list of doors on what the future held for the two of you, together.

"it was better than i could've imagined," you grabbed his hand, squeezing it tight, "you're like a dream zhang hao. my dream boy."

Jongwoo’s POV

There was barely any traffic out, yet I kept going slower and slower. Wishing that every light would be red, all so I could have just one more minute with (Y/n). She was singing along to the radio as I drove, her voice was loud and a bit off-pitch, yet to me, it sounded like an angel. (Y/n) was smiling as she sang and danced around in the car, my heart was beating so loud I thought it would burst out of my chest. I thought she’d be tired after spending the entire day with me and our friends, but (Y/n) seemed to have more energy than ever. 

“Oh WOO! Can we stop and buy ice cream? Please,” The way her eyes sparkled and the warmth of her hand on my arm made it impossible to say no, not that I would have. “Of course,” Being in love with your best friend isn’t easy, especially when your best friend isn’t in love with you. I would do anything for her. She was the sun in my sky. (Y/n) is like a warm blanket on a cold winter day. I parked the car outside the store, (Y/n) was out of the car and running to the store before I even got my seatbelt off. 

“Ya, wait for me,” “Hurry up, Woo!” I jogged to catch up with her, a wide smile on my lips. As I got inside the store, I quickly found (Y/n) standing by the ice cream contemplating what to get. I snuck up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist, giving her a back hug. We often did coupley acts like this, but we’re just friends. To me, these moments were everything. I kept thinking of them for days after they happened, dreaming of how it would be to call (Y/n) my girlfriend. However, to her, I’m just her best friend who likes hugs. “I don’t know whether I want (flavor a) or (flavor b),” “How about we get one of each and share them?” “Would you be fine with that?” “Of course, I like both of those flavors,” “But, (flavor c) is your favorite,” (Y/n) looked up at me with an adorable, and very kissable, pout. “I’m not feeling (flavor c) today, (flavor a) and (flavor b) sound much better,” “You’re the best Jongwoo!” A beautiful smile stretched across her lips as she picked up one of each flavor before she skipped over to the counter. I joined her after getting some other snacks, knowing this was far from the end of our night together. 

After I paid for everything, much to (Y/n)’s dismay, we returned to the car. (Y/n) ripped open one of the ice creams to begin eating it, I opened the other one but before I could take a bite/lick it/whatever, (Y/n) took it and gave me the one she had already tasted. I chuckled at the act, all too used to it. We sat in silence, sharing the ice cream, for a few minutes until (Y/n) squealed. “Woo, did I tell you about the guy I’m going on a date with tomorrow?” My heart sank at the thought, that someone else could be dating her. I answered, lowly, not really wanting to hear about it, “Uhm, no, I don’t think so,” “Okay, so his name is Zhang Hao, and he’s really cute and funny,” (Y/n) continued telling me everything she knew about this guy, I had to admit, he sounded a lot better than other guys she’s dated, but he wasn’t me. 

The more she spoke about this guy, the more jealous I felt, I wanted to tell (Y/n) how much I loved her. But I can’t. “I just wish he treats as good as you do, Jongwoo,” I couldn’t hold myself back anymore, I leaned in, put a hand on one of her cheeks, I closed my eyes, and kissed her. She didn’t push me back, she didn’t resist it, but neither did she kiss me back. After a few seconds, I removed my hand from her cheek and leaned back, afraid to open my eyes. What if I just ruined everything? When I opened my eyes, (Y/n) was looking back at me, her cheeks red with a deep blush, a shocked look in her eyes. 

“What?” I took a deep breath, “I love you, (Y/n). I am IN love with you,” “You’re in love with me?” “I have been for years,” (Y/n) blinked slowly as she looked down, I recognized this action, it’s what she always did when she was nervous. Her right hand came to play with the bracelet I gave her on her birthday last year, on her left wrist. “I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable, I’ll just drive you home,” (Y/n) didn’t answer, I started the car and began driving, now in complete silence. Good job, Yoon Jongwoo, you just lost your best friend. I parked the car outside of her apartment. “Are we okay?” I asked, hoping that (Y/n) would talk with me. “Jongwoo, look at me,” I immediately looked up, meeting the eyes that I loved. For a few moments, we just sat there, looking into each other’s eyes. (Y/n) seemed to be searching for something in my gaze. 

I admired her eyes, the way they sparkled in the night lights. Her skin that is soft and warm. The arch of her nose, everything that is wonderful with her. All of a sudden, I felt warm and soft lips pressed against my own. I had my eyes open, shocked, but after two seconds, I closed my eyes and kissed (Y/n) back. We kissed each other multiple times, just kissing for minutes. After those minutes, I had to break away from this, I had to know what it meant. 

“You’re kissing me back, what, uhm, what does that mean?” “I love you too, Jongwoo. Friends don’t call each other in the middle of the night, couldn’t even tell you why, or just to say hi. I love you, Yoon Jongwoo, you’re everything I want,” I broke out into a smile, happiness and relief filling my body, “I love you too, (L/n) (Y/n),” I leaned in and gave her another kiss, this one a bit shorter and sweeter as we both smiled into it.
