I know the Bebop crew aren't technically 'heroes' but I couldn't deny the parallel between the two franchises! I guess I've always seen the Spike/Faye dynamic as an older version of the Michi dynamic :3 Also, when I was taking notes on what superhero crossovers they could be, I kept coming up with anti-heroes like the MCU's Black Cat and Deadpool... I wonder why...

This is maybe the future of them. I hope they can be official announce to be soon couple. But if they are not, I'm still rooting whoever Mimi's end up with. :) Honestly I liked with Taichi because of their personality seems match. Also Mimi's had qualification as Leader, when I re-watch Digimon Adventure 02 the scene where she's gather choosen children from overseas and the gate is open.

Wednesday, September 27: STRIKE THE POSE aka idols au

Taichi Yagami never knew much about jpop bands and idols until his sister Hikari got to the age where she started dragging him to concerts and meetups. Nobody ever stood out to him until Hikari shared a music video a band where one of the members is none other than Mimi Tachikawa, a girl he has used to have a crush on in middle school.

His now reignited crush was never supposed to become anything more until Yamato Ishida later invites him to an event where the one and only Mimi Tachikawa is also attending. Things become more complicated when she not only finds him but recognizes and forces them to catch up not that he doesn’t mind.

Aka my cheesy michi au where Taichi is both embarrassed and flirty with Mimi while she’s desperate for a breath of fresh air. Just some fluff and chaotic emotions :)
