here’s a quick sketch of arima!! i don’t know what his eye colour is, but on the back of the volume cover, it kind of looked like a yellow slightly darker than his hair colour! maybe it was mentioned somewhere in the story, or maybe not, but i’ll have to check later lol

i went through the chapters again and found out taiga has tiger stripe patterned boxers?? this is so cute honestly, but not surprising. after all, his name literally sounds like tiger, he loves tiger mask, and even arima slipped up his words when he was talking about taiga and tiger hehehe

Boy Meets Maria is officially my favorite manga of all time and I don’t think anything will ever be able to knock it down from that place. If you’re looking for discussions on sexuality, gender fluidity, individualism, public perception, and trauma then this manga may be the one for you.

Boy Meets Maria follows Taiga, an enthusiastic teenager dead set on becoming a famous actor one day. On his first day of school he falls head-over-heels for Maria, a student in the dance troupe. However, he quickly learns that Maria only uses this name for the dance troupe and instead presents masculine, as a boy, outside of performances as Arima. Taiga quickly falls for Arima and finds that the way they present and their gender does not matter to him. While this is a love story, their story contains so many important discussions that leads to them learning to love & be loved.
