I struggle with accepting my own nose shape, but ours really aren't that different from each other's. Seeing that nose shape on you is actually inspiring to me because I can physically see how simultaneously handsome and beautiful it makes you look (/platonic) 🫂

I can talk you out of a nose job because nose jobs are a literal lottery. The ones that work are from super expensive and respected plastic surgeons. If they are not your nose will literally look like a melted candle stick or the nose holes will look mushed. Also just because you think you'll look better with a different nose doesn't mean you will, noses completely change a face so if the nose you pick isn't meant for your face you will be ruined for life. Secondly it will never twitch, it will never move, it alters your voice and in later years you will need a touch up.

I second the pigeons being good boys, they are not wild but abandoned domestic animals. Which is why they respond well when you feed them because they're strays like stray dogs or cats, technically left alone but biologically they were bred to care about us and be taken care of by us. It's just when proper message service was invented, pigeons weren't needed, so they were let go.

YES EXACTLY!!! Pigeons are domesticated and are supposed to be loved by people and love being cared for by people. Yet people popularly keep parrots and other exotic birds as pets despite them not being domesticated, while pigeons are meant to be pets and remain very rare home pets.

Pigeons enjoy cuddles and scritches!

Pigeons actually do not experience sexual issues if you pet their wings or back like other birds do. It is theorized that this is because they are nonchalant about mating habits. Pigeons are also very quiet, especially females, so they make good pets for people who like birds but can’t do the noise. This is how I found out about pigeons as pets! I googled what birds are quiet and friendly.

There are definitely drawbacks to owning a pigeon, like the fact that they are very dusty birds and require air purifiers. They also cannot be litter trained, but they can be trained to wear diapers (“pigeon pants”) when they’re out!

Pigeons were also bred for show as well; the latter two pics are “fancy pigeons”, bred to have pretty plumage. These are fantails. Some fancy breeds are unethical because they cause health issues, kind of like pugs in dogs. Steer clear!
