hey! wanted to let you guys know that im pushing very hard for a release on Friday, and it's definitely possible but i can't guarantee it. without going into to much detail, a lot has unknowningly creeped out in the past few days i've been working on the game and it's been slowly making me put it on backburner as i take the time to work through personal issues with everyday life!

this game will ALWAYS be worked on. i will never drop it. i'll be here every week to update you, even if i just wrote a sentence or two, or planned another chapter fully.

im just not going to use all my spare time to do TMS w/o first fixing whatever the fuck life threw at me 💀💀 so demo might be coming out in following weeks bcuz it sure as hell is close to being completed.

hey gang ‼️ little update here, im putting out the list of people you can devote to (if you go down the singular religion route) and wanted to know your opinions. keep in mind, i picked these because they made sense with the story and i know i'll be able to integrate them into it

I just wanted to say that I'm so excited for your demo. From the snippets and everything I know I'm going to absolutely adore it (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠). I also wanted to ask since in the myth Eros stayed invisible a lot of the time and psyche went through a lot of trials at the end while being pregnant and other stuff etc., will this story will have stuff like that from the myth or will you change it up completely?

thank you for your interest!! i'll be working on it all next week to hopefully be able to deliver it in time for friday, if not, AGHGHH, idk what i'll do with myself (thinking june 12th for the backup date? life has been crazy) but yes, i will be implementing the trials that Psyche goes through in the myth - just w/o the pregnant part, simply because we also have people playing as M!Pysche, NB!Psyche and with a F!Eros. if someone wants to have some demigods with Eros, i'll probably leave that for the epilogue where they can decide how those children came to be or if they're even there in the first place. on the topic of Eros being invisible, i don't think.. i'll implement it for a lot of things. there will def be some times where Eros is there but isn't, or where they're taking form in a new shape, but there will be a lot of psychical shit with Eros - as much as PC wants. sorry i was trying to not spoil anything 💀

happy birthday lovely!! i do love this story, im just a huge procrastinator and that does not correlate well with game-making 💀 im actually writing it as we speak and finishing up the pov change with Aphrodite/Eros that sets up basically the whole plot of the myth. realistically speaking, this should 100% be done by next week. i think im just being dramatic and thinking of the worst-case scenario. besides, this game is going to be on the very shorter end. i doubt it'll even cross 200k, so it should be fully completed by Q2 of next year. my next game (which i am planning in the background and probably start truly working on when TMS is near its ending) will be VERY long and VERY in-depth and very much a whole new world im building instead of TMS, which is piggybacking off a pre-built setting in a way! and before i get any anons shaming me for working on something in the background before TMS even as a demo out, i NEED to work on two things at once so my interest doesn't die out in either or :D

we PRAY that i can get this out by friday of next week because i seriously dont want to push it back. im finally done with my exams for this month (took my last one of may today) so ya girl is free for a bit. hopefully i'll knock out the remaining writing in the next few days, i don't know if i will because im never gonna force myself to do something as that causes writing burnout for me but WE PUSH THROUGH 💪
