Ted lasso's known for putting in small hints to build up plots, and parallels to give bigger meanings

the way they portrayed Ted to be the one of the first to ask her how's she's holding up after the divorce

How Ted says he can truly see who Rupert is too, unlike the press and others

The way it was Rebecca who helped him during his first panic attack

the way Rebecca showed momentary relief when Ted finally showed up to the funeral

The way Ted was the one who helped to continue singing never gonna give u up to show Rebecca support. It could have been her mom, who sings it everyday, or sassy, her childhood best friend who knew about everything Rebecca went through with her dad, or Keeley, her cheerleader by her side supporting her always. But no, it was Ted.

The parallel between Rupert telling her to slow down when she chugged her champagne during the gala, and Ted simply noting she crushed it when she chugged her champagne after hearing about sam choosing to stay

the way of all people, Rebecca wanted to talk to Ted before talking to her mom

there is NO WAY the writers did that scene where Rebecca's texting on bantr and they cut to a scene of Ted texting to give us a false impression of Ted being the bantr guy, without any intentions of bringing them together. I just don't buy it, it's gotta mean smth even if it played as them trolling us at first.

The parallel between Rebecca's "truth bombs" and how Ted was the one who left in the first, and Rebecca was the on who left in the second

The way Ted gave a small soft glance towards Rebecca as she left after that second truth bomb. ( SPECIFIC ACTING CHOICES WERE MADE. )

Rebecca wanted Ted to be there when Sam came to bring the news about choosing to stay. For some reason, it was important for her that whatever Sam had to say, Ted had to hear too. He was her emotional support because she knew she couldn't face the music alone, she needed him there.

The way Ted said "our" when referring to future Rupert run-ins. It wasn't Rebecca's run-ins against her ex-husband, it was THEIR run-ins against this rude awful wanker.

In conclusion, tedbecca better be endgame with all these hints they're dropping
