Okay, I felt really bad while I was making this; I’m the evil, I tell you. DERY, MARI, DON’T CRY PLS; I LOVE YOU. (It’s dedicated to you both bbys, @derierisu @minccinocappuccino)

This has a simple storyline based in a nightmare I had 2 days ago (just in case you don’t understand what’s going on).

So, there’s a big disaster going on (a meteor, duh) and Ladybug/Chat Noir are trying to stop it but they’re not successful. They transform back to their civilian form and both are really desperate and don’t really know what to do; and that’s when Tikki/Plagg tell their respective holders that they can save the world in change of their lives. Marinette and Adrien are trying to stop them, saying that they’ll try harder and that there needs to be a way to stop the meteor, but the kwamis just tell them “even though it’s the end of the world, don’t blame yourself”.

And basically the video is based on their memories, the disaster, the goodbye and BOOM. This is post-reveal btw.

I was heavily inspired by some Undertale videos (MAP parts to be exact) and I’m so glad to have found this beautiful song; it’s so heartbreaking omg.

Sooo terribly sorry for the delay. procrastination and art block make a nasty combo. That and i was trying to figure out how to tie up the loose ends. 

Anyways, after Marinette’s very less-than-subtle escape from the ball, she finally notices that she was still clutching the bracelet. It takes a while but she figures it out, even if she doesn’t believe it right away. A few days later, Mari tells Alya everything and they scream about it cos that means Adrien fell really hard for Mari. Meanwhile, at the palace, Adrien and Gabriel have repeated debates about his potential bride and things are very tense cos neither would give in. The matter moves to Adrien’s favor when Nathalie privately convinces Gabriel with a compromise. Basically, Ladybug will be carefully interviewed and, irregardless of her status, must prove that she is worthy to be Queen. Adrien is deeply touched and grateful to Nathalie. Nino hears about it and is very happy that Adrien and Mari have a chance.

So a week after the ball, the announcement is made to the entire country. Ladybug must present herself to be considered for marriage. Mari was with Alya during the announcement, so she had to rush back home to retrieve her glass shoe as proof. Of course, Chloe somehow suspected Mari was Ladybug and finds the glass shoe after a few days of breaking-and-entering Mari’s room. Chloe provokes Mari and during their scuffle the shoe breaks when it’s thrown too high. Mari is shocked while Chloe is absolutely livid so she slaps Mari and locks her room indefinitely. Mari breaks down but she is a little relieved that Chloe will never marry Adrien.

After a day or two when Ladybug does not show, Adrien is very worried because Mari would not be that ashamed to present herself. However, if the Bourgeois somehow found out, they may have silenced her against her will. Not willing to give up, Adrien remembers the glass shoe and, the very next day, implements a country-wide search for Ladybug by making all single maidens wear the shoe to prove her identity. Adrien secretly puts his duties on hold to sneak in as one of the guards and leaves the public inspection to Nino and Nathalie. The search for Ladybug is filled with hilarity and excitement.

However, the shoe refuses to be worn no matter what, and it is on the thirday day that it finds it way to the Dupain-Cheng estate. Mari knows about the search since she overheard a very excited Chloe. She tries everything to escape until she gets an idea. Meanwhile, Chloe arrogantly orders Nino to put the shoe on her foot (he tries not to twist her ankle too hard) but thankfully, the shoe remains stubborn. Sabrina also tries and fails but with much less screeching. The royal search is about to leave when they hear a young lady singing from behind the manor. When Nino and Nathalie inquire, Andre tries to dismiss it saying that their disobedient servant girl cannot be Ladybug. That’s when Adrien finally shows himself, just barely keeping his emotions in check. He orders the Bourgeois to bring down Mari and Nino goes to make sure Andre doesn’t do anything funny. 

Andre reluctantly opens Mari’s room and she barely cries in relief when she sees Nino. Nino happily escorts her down past a scowling Andre. When they see Chloe half-blocking their way, she makes a final hurtful jab at Mari. Nino tells her off with a silent threat and lets Mari go to Adrien. When they finally meet, they have a moment to relive all the events since the festival. Mari is the first to move as she presents the bracelet she has held on for days and calls Adrien by his rogue nickname. Adrien replies with the nickname he gave her at the ball. Everything comes together when the shoe finds its owner and the mysterious Ladybug is finally revealed. The entire estate erupts in claps and cheers but Bourgeois know they will no longer be welcomed. Even though Adrien has finally found his princess and Mari her prince, they know that the meeting with the king will the hardest yet. 

OKAY, that was more writing than i expected. So only one more “chapter”, then an epilogue and then it’s good bye. AAAHHHHH ( ಥ//Д//ಥ)
