How do you keep yourself motivated and excited to create art and stuff for Sailor moon? Seems like many Sm artists and bloggers either moved on to other fandoms or stopped posting altogether, I appreciate you sticking around and providing us some good content, thanks.

It happens, especially with such an old franchise people are gonna come and go. Some people stick around, but they might not make content for that fandom only, you know. And tbf I'm also fairly new to the fandom in regards of making content (about 3 years maybe), while there's people who have made content for much much longer than I have, but are just not as active anymore or not at all. (Or yk, those people are adults who are busy adulting now)

Regarding your question tho, my genuine advice is to stop strictly engaging with canon material only. You'll get bored of it real quick.

Make your own stuff using the characters, play with them, play with those ideas and just merely adopt the parts from canon that you really truly enjoy and like to think about.

Read fanfics, fancomics, Tumblr posts about them and look for creative fanarts. That's what I do, at least, and it's worked so far about mmh.. 13 years?
