inter community antimasculinity is NOT a problem with transfems. its a problem in the entire community. on tumblr most antitransmasculinity seems to come from transfems (with many exceptions) but tumblr is not the world.
"average trans woman hates masculinity" is actually statistical error. average trans woman understands that the fear of masculinity is part of patriarchy. reclaimedradfeminism42069 who has threatened 1000 autistic men for not showing obvious emotions and rewrote jkr's manifesto to focus on an extremely narrow group of hypothetical trans women who have zero connection to masculinity and transtioned at the age of -4 and sends death threats to trans women who have stubble and has a very suspicious amount of close mutuals who are cishet terfs is a statistical outlier adn should not have been counted.
dont forget that terfs are not above having sideblogs where they pretend to be trans. radical feminism is not your friend. not all radical feminism is terfism, ive seen many trans people calling themselves radfems on this site, including transmascs (assuming they arent terfs in disguise).
misogyny affects all trans people.
antimasculinity affects all trans people.
men are not hated for being men but they sure are hated for being men wrong. trans women fail masculinity and so do trans men. dont forget about black and brown men either. remember disabled men. remember mentally ill men. remember effeminate men.
its so easy to fail masculinity.
when we reject men we reject those who can support us. community can not exist if we destroy it. we cant survive alone, we have to work together.

youre not “bad at art” you just need to find a character to latch onto to where you draw them 1 million times and you improve dramatically

So you are telling me, according to the San Antonio Police Department, its not a hate crime when you:
- threaten to burn a gay couple’s house down for two years and openly calling them slurs
- actually do burn down the house
- kill their dog and place it’s skull and harness on top of the couple’s mailbox for them to see
- shoot and kill one of them while they are crying over seeing their murdered dog’s remains while you are also calling them homophobic slurs
During both Pride and Indigenous History Month nonetheless.
Rest In Peace Jonathan Joss.

if the only time you talk about trans men and their issues is a gotcha statement for bathroom bills, you're not the ally/activist you think you are.
if the only time you talk about intersex people and their issues is a gotcha for the sex is binary argument, you're not the ally/activist you think you are.
trans men and intersex people are more than just your token and deserve to be treated better.

Am I wrong to be disappointed in the gettys queer history exhibit? I adored seeing everything and everyone don't get me wrong, but there was one photograph for intersex people. It was someone's genitals. The info board only said they didn't know the name of the subject and it was likely taken for medical purposes. People were gathering in that corner and gawking. My only representation in the queer art history space was a nonconsentual picture of genitals. That was it. The only representation they had for intersex history was a waist down picture of someone's genitals. Not our activism, not Hermaphrodites with Attitude, not our lives, not our faces, not our books, not the celebrities or athletes with variations, not our myths or statues or ancient art, just genitals. I left the event early, because I couldn't stop looking at people and knowing that if I talked to them about being intersex all they would see would be genitals, because I knew that after the whole exhibit they would all only know me as genitals.

it's almost pride month again. what a great reminder for Please Be Normal about these people:
- aromantic people who aren't asexual.
- asexual people who aren't aromantic.
- cishet aromantic and cishet asexual people.
- aromantic men in general.
- intersex people who are trans.
- intersex people who are are cis.
- intersex people who are cistrans/tris and those who are neither.
- intersex people who are cishet.
- intersex people in general.
- nonbinary people who don't personally identify as transfem or transmasc.
- nonbinary people who don't want to be androgynous.
- cis people who use neopronouns and/or xenogenders while still feeling cis fits just fine.
- people who feel gender dysphoria or misgendered when referred to by they/them, especially after telling you not to use they/them.
PART TWO.
⚠️ Do not use they/them if talking about me to others in reblogs/comments. I have neopronouns in my pinned post ⚠️

Friendly reminder not at least trying to use someone’s neopronouns is transphobic
Even it/its and nounself like cat/catself
You are choosing to not use someone’s pronouns out of convenience
“It’s too hard to use neopronouns”
“ it’s too too difficult to use your new pronouns”
Transphobic people have been using that as an excuse for a long time
I understand it is difficult to use them
It’s okay if you make a mistake
It’s okay if you mispronounce them
It’s okay if you accidentally use the wrong pronouns and try to do better next time
It’s okay if you accidentally use neopronouns that they don’t you and make a mental or physical note on the ones they do use
Everyone makes mistakes especially when learning something new
You mispronounce a new word sometimes even if you use the word all the time mistakes are common
