Talk Business 360 Talk on Unconventional Marketing Tactics 2019
Most marketers have a long list of new things they want to try in 2019, but everyone has a limit. Here’s what top marketers say they’ll stop doing in 2019.
Marketers tend to focus on more: More leads, more content, more website traffic, more engagement. We have to adapt quickly as digital marketing evolves, but there comes a point where you give up certain tactics. You aren’t still doing fax marketing, are you?
Rather than add to your ever-lengthening to-do list for 2019, I created a list of what your fellow marketers plan to stop doing or to do less of this year. The answers come from about 40 marketers who responded to an informal poll in late December 2018. B2B marketers made up more than half of the respondents.
TO compete in the overly competitive digital landscape of 2019, you’ll need to focus on twelve specific areas.
While you’ve probably heard about these, how many details do you really know to make each one effective? They’re all the standards for this year and into the coming decade.
1 Facebook Advertising 2 Cold Outreach 3 Social Media 4 Blogging (Mostly on Third-Party Sites) 5 SEO 6 Search Engine Marketing 7 Local Search Marketing 8 Content Marketing 9 Email Marketing 10 Marketing Automation 11 Influencer Marketing
It’s easy to see why influencer marketing is red-hot right now, but where is it heading? And more importantly, how can you capitalize on it?
Marketing tactics are a series or set of strategic methods or actions aimed at promoting a business’ goods or services. The aim is to maximize sales and maintain a competitive good or service. Good, in this context, means product.
Good marketing tactics
A company with good tactics will have managed to get the most out of its limited financial resources. Specifically, regarding the promotion of its products or services.
The term does not mean the same as marketing strategy.
The word strategy refers to a plan to achieve a goal. A tactic, on the other hand, explains how that plan is executed.

How To Develop An Effective Marketing Strategy - Talk Business 360 TV
In business, some entrepreneurs view success in its most basal format. All they want is the ability to earn a living while working for themselves. For others, success takes on far more grandiose terms. It involves the erection of colossal empires that spans the globe with droves of customers and multi-billion-dollar revenue streams.
But how do you do it? How do you institute the right strategy to market a company, especially if you have an almost non-existent advertising budget? Clearly, this isn't easy. It requires the fundamentals of a sound business that adds value to the world and looks to help others or solve a big problem first and foremost. Beyond that, it can seem like a convoluted and complicated undertaking to market online or offline.
So here to 8 Steps For Developing A Strong Marketing Strategy:-
Mobile-Friendly Everything Include Virtual Reality Marketing Tactics Customer-Centricity Is A Must Utilize Big Data Forget Blast Emails Know your Competition Encourage Independent Social Media Sharing Final Thoughts
Your marketing strategy affects the way you run your entire business, so it should be planned and developed in consultation with your team. It is a wide-reaching and comprehensive strategic planning tool that:
- Describes your business and its products and services - Explains the position and role of your products and services in the market - Profiles your customers and your competition - Identifies the marketing tactics you will use - Allows you to build a marketing plan and measure its effectiveness.
Identify your business goals To develop your marketing strategy, identify your overarching business goals, so that you can then define a set of marketing goals to support them. Your business goals might include:
- Increasing awareness of your products and services - Selling more products from a certain supplier - Reaching a new customer segment.

How to Grow Your New E-commerce Business Like Expert
Due to rapid growth of Internet and borderless communication system with easy access to online payment method, we are seeing huge numbers of ecommerce stores are increasing day by day. However most of them remain unsuccessful and close their business within a year. But despite huge competition you can lead your new eCommerce business like an expert. In this article I will try to share some advanced strategies and tips that successful eCommerce company follows.
Always try to sell unique product:
Don't try to sell sand in desert otherwise you are not going get success. This is a major mistake that Most of the store owners do. They try to sell same product which people can easily find on local stores or found on popular sites like Amazon, Walmart etc. If people find same product in local store near to their home why do they buy from your online store as it will be time consuming. Another problem is your product can be found on Amazon, Walmart, eBay like sites so people will order from their instead of your site. So now you understand you need to be creative in choosing right product. Making unique product is not very difficult task if you look at AliExpress you will see how these guys are bringing uniqueness to the generic product and most of the dropshipping sites are fully dependent on AliExpress.
For example you want to sell tshirt in your site. Now thisrt is found everywhere and you can't stop. But you can bring uniqueness to the product like your tshirts glow in the dark. The design is exclusive and rare.
Site needs to be professional:
At first people will see your site design when they come to your store. If they feel negative about the site they are not going to buy product for sure. Your site must be mobile friendly as most people will come from mobile and iPad. Logo should be unique and professional.
Making a professional site is not difficult if you know WordPress you can build awesome site within few hours. Buy premium theme from envato marketplace, divi, elementeretc and build your eCommerce site easily. There are many free and paid plugins that reduce your hard work. Same amount of work if you want to be done by freelancer he would probably charge more than 1000$.
Another way is to use shopify although you have to pay monthly charge but its more easier than WordPress. Some people also use other CMS like magento, drupal etc.
For logo, icon, banner you need to hire freelancer so that these looks professional.
Product page:
Product page needs to be professional and it should contain positive reviews of customers. Write a detailed description of the product with 5 to 6 high quality images from different angles. Make sure theme supports zoom of image. See how top sites like Amazon, eBay, Ali express structure their product page. Videos of product which has demonstration will attract visitors.
Top 3 qualities of product:
·         It is a wow product
·         It is not widely available
·         It solves the problem of audience
Marketing in right way:
Marketing is important as nobody knows your new site. People normally don't buy when they see first time when they get the trust of the brand they decide to buy. There are various ways of promoting your site. Its a common that most of the owners run fb ads. If you run fb ads you may need to re target same audience to get better results. TV ads are a little bit of expensive but more effective to boost your brand. There are some companies like TALK BUSINESS 360 TV that helps business owners to boost their brand. Newspaper ad, Google ad is also couple of options. I have seen many small stores got success with Instagram influencer.
Affiliate marketing:
Affiliate marketing is so powerful strategy to make your store viral. You will only pay to affiliates when they bring sell to your store. With this strategy you will get many peoples who will keep promoting your product. But make sure there is a guideline to follow in promotion otherwise some people may do spam with affiliate links which will create bad reputation to your brand.
Giving bonus to customers:
Every people want to win when they buy anything. So you can make offer like 20% discount or gift another product with the purchased product. But these offers should be for a short time period. So people will think, if they buy now they can save money or get a reward which is a win for them. These offers do well during seasonal time like Black Friday, father's day etc.
Every successful business started from zero so don't worry if you can't see quick success as it takes time. Successful ecommerce business owners do the same thing like the one who fails but they do it in creative way. Let us know your valuable feedback in the comment section.

Speaker: [00:00:00]Next we hear from Palo Alto University a nonprofit and private educational institution dedicated to improving lives through education and research. Dr. Alvin Thomas is the co-director of the Center for Excellence in diversity at Palo Alto University and he's been engaged in research at Palo Alto on how exposure to violence affects the development of youth. He joins us now to tell us more. Dr. Thomas welcome.
Dr. Thomas: [00:00:25] Well thank you very much for having me.
Speaker: [00:00:26] Dr. Thomas start by telling us a bit about yourself and your institution Palo Alto University.
Dr. Thomas: [00:00:32] I am an assistant professor at Palo Alto University and co-director for the center for excellence and diversity and originally from the island of St. Lucia. I teach classes and cultural diversity in clinical psychology as well as a seminar called Psychology of the African-American child. My research lab investigates the risk and protective factors associated with positive youth development and I focus on self-efficacy enhancement father son relationships and parenting.
Speaker: [00:01:01] you’ve been doing research on how exposure to actual physical violence and experiences where youths have seen or heard about violence can affect them. What have you found?
Dr. Thomas: [00:01:09] Alongside parenting practices, School resources and community support self-efficacy beliefs continued to predict positive youth development especially so for youth who have witnessed physical violence and by self-efficacy what I mean is youth confidence in their own ability to avoid specific negative behaviors. Self-efficacy is an internal asset that clinician’steacher’s community organizations policymakers and even parents must seek to enhance in youth who live in low income and high crime neighborhoods. There is no doubt that growing up black in America in urban settings is a significant risk to children and youth. In fact some work has suggested that the trauma and PTSD symptomatology associated with these life situations are similar to that of war veterans and read found in war torn regions like Iraq and Afghanistan witnessing physical violence therefore is a major risk for future youth violence. However for children who have witnessed violence parents can enhance the self-efficacy of youth and reduce future violence by monitoring their children by becoming involved in the lives of their children and by communicating about specific risk factors like witnessing physical violence.

Speaker: [00:00:00] Microwaves a form of electromagnetic radiation with short wavelengths are most often associated with our kitchens but have a range of applications including communications navigation and radar. Founded in 1970 TRM Microwave is a global leader in the design and manufacture of custom and ready to build RF and microwave components integrated assemblies and subsystems for defense space and commercial applications. The company's product line covers DC to 40 gigahertz with power handling of up to 100 kilowatts. Here to tell us more is Wendy Tirollo owner and CEO of TRM Microwave. Wendy welcome.
Speaker:[00:00:39] let’s start here. What sets you apart from the other companies in the RF and microwave field?
Wendy Tirollo: [00:00:44] what sets us apart from our competitors is that 96 percent of our parts are custom built and we offer unmatched design development and engineering partnerships that complete our customers ideas. So we'll correct right specifications and use best practices to understand their needs. So we can come up with the best innovative solutions.
Speaker:[00:01:02] So what have you found are the biggest challenges in the RF microwave industry and how is TRM meeting those challenges.
Wendy Tirollo: [00:01:09] One of our challenges is the RF industry as a whole is facing a shortage of talented skilled and interested graduates going into the RF industry. I actually spoke last year at the New Hampshire Senate committee hearing on small business and entrepreneurship on this very topic suggesting that we should do some refreshing and energizing campaigns starting in the middle and high schools. We need to get the next generation excited and passionate at a much younger age. Secondly Trump's goal is always to try and focus on collaborating with the appropriate engineer which isn't always easy because it is critical to get in on the conceptual design phase before programs are awarded.
Speaker:[00:01:46].Finally can you tell me about some of TRM Microwaves latest achievements.
Wendy Tirollo: [00:01:50] Sure. We successfully achieved AS 9100 certification after our first audit. Secondly Tyrone was recently chosen over 20 other companies in a three year long vetting process for participation in the Department of Defense mentor protege program. In fact Raytheon a Tier 1 Prime defense contractor is actually our mentor. It's a mutually beneficial relationship. We worked closely with them on programs and they help us to improve our infrastructure and ultimately diversify and expand the overall base of our marketplace participation. And finally within the last year we proudly celebrated both our 46 anniversary and our first year anniversary as a woman owned small business.

Magna Featured on Fox Business Talk Business 360
Magna Life Settlements had a turn in the national spotlight on June 30 when the company, and the life settlement industry, were featured on an episode of Fox Business Talk Business 360.
The theme of the show was financial innovations, and the segment on life settlements provided a platform for Magna Life Settlement Senior Vice President Clay Gibson and Director of Agent Origination Jim Purdy to talk about the benefits and considerations of selling a life insurance policy. The episode also included an interview with Adam Hull, a partner advisor with AdvicePeriod.
“When you bring up life insurance to your clients, they think you are trying to sell them something,” said Gibson, addressing financial advisors. “But in this case, you are actually trying to take life insurance, which they already own and you’re explaining to them that a life settlement can give them cash now for something that they no longer need, or they no longer want.”
Hull reinforced Gibson’s remarks from the perspective of a financial advisor, speaking about the win-win arrangement when an advisor can lead a client toward a life settlement that will yield cash from an unwanted policy. He referred to a life settlement as “a huge win for the client experience and for their balance sheet.”
Purdy then spoke to the need for more awareness of the life settlement option, citing a poll in which 90 percent of people who lapsed their policies said that they wish they had been informed about life settlements. Rising health care costs and volatility in the health insurance marketplace heighten the need for seniors to explore all of their income options, Purdy said.
After going into more depth about the opportunities advisors have to help their clients meet retirement needs through life settlement, Gibson and Purdy recommended Magna Life Settlements as a trusted source of life settlement information and resources.
“We’re a top-ranked life settlement provider,” Gibson said to conclude the segment. “In fact, over the last five years, we’ve been able to provide more cash payout to clients and consumers than any other life settlement provider in our space.
