My wife is trying to start up a bakery which would specialize in alcohol-infused pastries (up to 5% alcohol by volume) in a smaller college town. Of course she’ll also offer more traditional cakes, pastries and pies too, but she thinks alcoholic products will make her really stand out.

Maybe her choice is that she would love nothing more than easy access to birth control, and can't get it because without Planned Parenthood, how is she supposed to? What about the vital pre-natal care? How about the time after she gives birth to a child that *might* be adopted? Who takes care of her then, when her body is trying to heal and adapt, when she can't take time off of work for a maternity leave she doesn't qualify for because she gave the baby up, not that she would get it anyway because our system does not give maternity leave more often than not, at least not PAID leave. Or when she decides to keep a child she can't afford but the welfare system has been stripped so she can't get any help? Maybe her choice would be to keep the baby but she knows that this is not the world she wants to raise a child in. Maybe she wasn't given any choices and ended up pregnant as a result of sexual assault. Maybe she is part of the .1% who did absolutely everything possible to not get pregnant, enduring the awful side effects of birth control AND using a condom because she KNEW that she did not want a child and did not want to have to go through the fight of having to terminate a pregnancy and yet still it happened. Maybe she doesn't do anything to prevent pregnancy whenever she has sex, and goes through the emotional (and physical!) turmoil of an abortion. Every. Single. Time. Do you know who should get a say in what happens to HER body? SHE should. No one else: not old men who don't care about her or her children. Not YOU, who don't even know her. Not even her partner--although I don't believe that the partner shouldn't have a voice, they absolutely should. But ultimately it is up to HER to decide what happens within her, whether she thinks of it as a miracle or as a burden.

I recognize that I am saying this from my place of privilege as a white cishet woman, but here's the thing about the Womxn's Marches: They weren't meant to actually stop anyone from being sworn in, since that happened before they occurred. What they were/are about, what they absolutely said, what they will endure because of is this: WE ARE WATCHING AND WE ARE LISTENING AND WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY. We will not be silenced, we will not be moved.

I am very concerned about people thinking that faithless electors will somehow get Hillary voted into office.

At least one of the twelve electors of Washington State has said they will NOT use their electoral votes towards her, even though the state says they have to.

Because they are not required to.

How many other states have had their electors already make that statement? I’m sure it wasn’t just WA. And the states that went full on red? What makes you think they will decide to change their votes?

And what if that night, it had gone the other way? What if Hillary had won 270 electoral votes? Knowing that at least one of them here was planning on writing in Bernie (because that’s his plan), I still would have felt the same heartbreak.

THIS is why I want the Electoral College to go.

I want my vote to actually count. I want the HALF of our population who did not vote to actually do so because they will know that theirs will count as well!

Found out today that my company's Downtown Disney store is still looking to fill a full time supervisor position. I'm having a tough time convincing myself not to apply. Even though there are a million cons (husband would hate living there, when we start having babies we would like our current support system, etc). The pluses are so good though! Work on property at DLR, live in California, be able to house friends when they make park trips, etc. Plus I hate updating my resume. Last time I did was for a seasonal spot as a cast member at the Disney Store (so I get to add that on).

I printed mine on a lightly yellow tinted cardstock (which is why its more yellow in the picture) and used good ol’ Elmer’s glue.. I feel like its pretty basic, but if you have any questions feel free to ask! I did not do double sided ears/tail- but if you just print them out flipped then you can get both sides :)

Saw Ghostbusters today and I am not, nor have I ever been A Fan of Kate McKinnon. I Do Not Like Her and I don't know why, therefore I cannot explain that. Something about her has just always rubbed me the wrong way. But Jesus Christ: Holtzmann was amazing. However, Patty stole the show. I spent about three minutes of the entire runtime not cackling like a madwoman (or at least giggling) for some reason or another. I am THE MOST glad that there wasn't a real romantic subplot between Kevin and any of the ladies (although Erin's obvious crush was adorable and awkward, just like my own crush on Chris Hemsworth).
