Not to start Disk Horse but my two cents on the whole "misandry is real" thing is that most forms of inequality that men face are still the result of a society that views them as superior. Which is misogyny.
#I agree that in some spaces that are ostensibly for everyone#there can be an anti-man attitude that makes trans men and queer men feel unwelcome#but calling it misandry is so dumb#bc that term was like created or at least popularized to be a counterweight to misogyny#and that just never will happen#like talk about your feelings and experiences but leave the anti feminist dogwhistles at the door bc that’s what it is#an idea that men are equally subject to some wide scale oppression on the basis of sex/gender and they just aren’t
