Most are kids demonizing adults for their faults, but hating to admit that said adults are also victims. Yeah i get the nuance but i watched this movie with my younger sisters (because they are kpop fans and i was only there to change the dub to Korean but stayed anyway). And i noticed she said she hated Celine for how she treated Rumi, while i only saw a woman in need of therapy 😅
And I get the point of adults needing to treat their own trauma and before being given the responsibility of looking after the young... But still— adults still need help and still carry trauma, you can't feel empathy towards one and completely demonize other just based on their age.
You could never turn me into a Celine hater. Even outside of the clear generational trauma that fuels her "faults and fears must never be seen mantra," even outside of her putting aside generations of teachings to raise and protect a half demon, even outside of her throwing away Rumi's sword when asked to kill her adopted daughter and frantically trying to find a way to pull Rumi's life together. You could never turn me into a Celine hater. You know why?
Because the Huntrix girls eat. Not only do they eat, they gorge themselves on food directly before a monumental performance in front of thousands of people.
I'm an actual kpop fan (for my sins). I have seen and heard some shit. And my most horrifying kpop fact that I keep in my back pocket, have personally horrified three different discord servers with, and rank personally higher than the burning sun scandal, is this: that when kpop idol Momo won Sixteen, a nationally popular survival show that decided the lineup of Twice, she was a last minute judge's veto and personally handpicked by the founder and CEO of their label. And then she was told by the staff that unless she lost ten pounds before their live debut, she would not be allowed into the group. So she worked herself to death exercising to lose the weight. And all she ate. Was ice. For a week.
You could never make me into a Celine hater. I don't care if this is an idyllic alternate universe where the horrors of the music industry don't exist. When an industry that drives nearly every person in it into horrifically obvious eating disorders is the real life example that Celine is being held against, I will defend this woman to the death. Her girls EAT.

Yuen Biao's fantastic jump off a two-storey burning building, from Millionaires' Express (1986).
He did not land on pads; Hong Kong and Chinese actors and stuntmen did not use them. Instead, Yuen landed on some empty cardboard boxes buried just below the ground.
For those who have not seen this film, you're missing a real treat. Directed by and starring Sammo Hung, it's a rip-roaring Hong Kong martial arts Western comedy. It stars a veritable who's who of Hong Kong and martial arts stars, including Cynthia Rothrock, Richard Norton, Yuen Wah, Yukari Ôshima, Jimmy Wang Yu, Shih Kien, Phillip Ko, and a host of others.
Ostensibly about a train heist, the movie can best be described as a Hong Kong-version of It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963). Hung and his team threw everything except the kitchen sink into the film: cowboys, samurai, ninjas, Sherlock Holmes, cops and robbers, Wong Wei Hung, American calvary, jailbreaks, and even the CIA!
All that shouldn't work, but it does, because no one (except Richard Norton, who never seems to know how to loosen up) is taking anything seriously. There are laughs galore, incredible stunts, and some really great fights.
The film is perhaps best known for the final fight between Sammo and Cynthia Rothrock. The pint-sized Rothrock (I've met her a few times, and she's the nicest lady, but really tiny) mops the floor with Sammo, but everything works out in the end.
I can't recommend Millionaires' Express enough!

Okay, I'm not sure if you're American, but this is so common to see there that im assuming it, of not, oops. But pal. Listen.
Not liking water is irrelevant. We're not babies tp be picky about food. We don't "stop breathing causes we hate air". You body needs water, not melted sugar.
Not being able to make dinner all time, i don't know how short on time/money you are but people don't really need three meals at day. You'll need two as long as they provide enough nutrients and are a reasonable amount. Maybe a snack. However id recommend looking for this properly as my memory is unable to provide more info.
Lastly, you can drink water with ice, tho, maybe not right after exercise or if the ambient temperature is too high (as quick changes of temperature on your body CAN be dangerous)
It's the internet's millennial mom back here again with an extremely unpopular opinion that I need you all to internalize:
There are no food rules, ESPECIALLY when you're just feeding yourself.
The internet (and specifically TikTok, Pinterest, etc) has become obsessed with beautifully plated meals that follow certain conventions. It's all bullshit.
Crack your pasta in half before you put in the pot. Put BBQ sauce on your salad. Do whatever the hell you need to do to get nutrients into your body. The only rule is you need to eat.

Funny, a couple months ago a Spanish youtuber I follow began a twitch setting to watch and discuss whatever this people were doing XD is just hilarious, from daredevil is his suit made of asbestos to Terra and her... Weird... Relationship with Slade, also talking about Paul, and that "batman all star" storyline. And even comic artist tracing p*rn videos.

ACTION COMICS (vol. 1) #258 (November, 1959). Cover by Curt Swan and Stan Kaye.
Another story from the era of when Superman was portrayed as a huge douche!
Barely six months after she first appeared, Superman exiles Supergirl to a faraway savage planet - all because she revealed her presence to Krypto the Superdog! That broke her promise to Superman to remain secret and unknown until he felt she had been adequately trained in the use of her super powers.
Of course, by the end of the story, we learn that it had all been a training exercise set-up by Superman that Supergirl passed with flying colors, so he appears just slightly less douchey than at the start of the story.
But still, hurling your cousin light years away seems a little extreme, especially since she still had her powers on the new planet. Why not just order Supergirl to fly there under her own power?
As with most Silver Age stories from the Superman family of books, it's best not to try to apply logic to them. That way lies madness.
Nevertheless, the cover did appeal to younger me. There was many the time I wanted to hurl my annoying little sister into space, but my parents wouldn't let me.

something something I love kralseiiiii
I just wanted to take a little scenario out of my head, Kris offering their hand to Ralsei, to go somewhere else before we crash the moment...
Ralsei is not able to even touch them, it was a lot and the smirk in Kris's face was almost charming
Being together was enough for now... at least for now.

Google docs let me tweak my preference to automatically turn --- into — cause there's the -- to – that i use for other purposes. Then, there's the "search and replace" option. But then, my phone keyboard has the "num keyboard" for most symbols i use. So yeah, weak argument.
"this is DEFINITELY written by AI, I can tell because it uses the writing quirks that AI uses (because it was trained on real people who write with those quirks)"
c'mon dudes we have got to do better than this

A 13-level pagoda (Jiutian lou, 九天楼) in Tazishan park (塔子山公园), Chengdu, Sichuan🌙🍃
The name of the pagoda comes from the famous poem “Climbing Jin Cheng Sanhua Tower” by Li Bai (李白,《登锦城散花楼》).
Jin cheng or Jin city refers to present-day Chengdu, and while the poem describes Sanhua pavilion, the final line of the poem “今来一登望,如上九天游”, translated as “Today I come to feast on this my eyes, As if I visited Celestial Sphere”, became the inspiration for Jiutian lou.
“九天”, both in the poem and in the name of the pagoda, does not signify the actual number of storeys, but rather means “the Ninth heaven” or “the highest of heavens”
