Saw a Japanese post on Twitter explaining how to digitally paint with CLIP STUDIO PAINT to make it look like traditional transparent watercolor (https://x.com/jam732145/status/1933246869188264215), so I tried it out right away on a quick sketch.

It was super fun being able to recreate that trendy, granulated watercolor pigment vibe that’s been popular lately! I really want to try making a proper piece using this painting method sometime soon 💪

I finally drafted the storyboard for my serious Sebastian x Sakurako comic based on Sebastian’s questline, and even Part 1 is already 13 pages long—it feels like it’ll never end 😳 The artwork will be tough, but for someone like me who doesn’t understand English very well, transcribing the in-game English dialogue is proving to be quite a challenge… Still, I’m treating it as a chance to improve both my drawing and my English skills, so I’ll do my best little by little!

Yesterday was my birthday, and my husband gifted me tickets to Universal Studios Japan—along with the glorious right to go wild and have as much fun as I wanted for the whole day! 🎉 So of course, I brought Sebastian, Sakurako, and Ominis & MC with me and took tons of photos together! 😍 And I finally got my hands on the plushies I’ve been wanting forever—a badger with a Hufflepuff scarf and a lion with a Gryffindor one. So satisfied! ❤️‍🔥 The following are some photos I took at USJ.

Just like last year, I spent the whole day in Hogwarts robes with my daughter and fully immersed myself in the Wizarding World! 🪄✨ My daughter spent the whole day with her beloved Pygmy Puffs—two on her head and one on her shoulder—and she seemed to enjoy herself quite a bit too!🔥 Huge thanks to my husband, who patiently carried our bags, took photos, and put up with all my fangirl whims the whole time 🤣💗

I unearthed Tobirama Senju x my OC manga I drew over ten years ago in the depths of my HDD.

Both manga are vulgar comedy manga that refer to intimate acts.

The style, content, and the fact that I love and often draw scenes of men pushing women down are all very similar to my recent works. 😳 People's tastes never change, no matter how many years pass...

I'm still enjoying summer vacation with my plushies!

I went to a hot spring town with them dressed in Japanese yukatas! ♨️ (I bought the yukatas because making them myself was too much trouble! 🤣)

On another day, I went to the official Harry Potter cafe in Akasaka, Tokyo, with plushies and my friend!

In Akasaka, there is a theater for the play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," and the area around Akasaka Station is decorated with various Harry Potter-themed decorations, making it fun to take pictures with the plushies. 😌

I was able to take out Slytherin-themed donut, scone, and bottled drink, and enjoy the world of Harry Potter even after returning home!🐍

I did everything I wanted to do this summer and created many meaningful memories!

By the way, ever since I got into Seb and Omi, I can't help but enjoy experiences like this with snakes at the zoo!

The weight and feel of the snakes on my neck, shoulders, and hands, their movements… all sorts of smut ideas keep popping up in my mind…🤣🤣🤣

There was trouble with people claiming 'my screenshot was traced and plagiarised by Tamayula without permission'.

I posted a timelapse on Twitter but was advised to watermark it as there are more and more troubles with AI learning timelapses without permission, so I added Chibi Shivering Ominis to it 🤣💕

When drawing Seb, Omi and MC in robe, I always wonder how I should draw the sleeves… 🤔🤔🤔

And I'm very bad at drawing wrinkles and shapes in clothes, so these days I use selfies to check them and use them as a reference 🤣

A small continuation of the manga I posted yesterday.

I remember the first time I played In the Shadow of the Study, I was so bemused by Sebastian's heartlessness in the Crucio scene that I laughed uncontrollably in front of the computer. The Japanese version of Seb's "Are you alright?" line is a lot more heartless than the English version 🤣🤣🤣

With this move, I moved to a place that is a bit closer to Universal Studios Japan, and my husband and daughter gave me USJ tickets as a birthday present for me!🤩 I finally got to take my Seb and Omi plush toys to the Wizarding World, and became the chosen one for the Ollivander's Wand show (I was given a choice of a yew tree and a dragon's heartstring wand) and had the most fun day!😭💞

Below is a personal photograph of my family, although our face is hidden.

As it was my birthday, I also asked my daughter and husband to dress up in Hogwarts! The three of us (and my beloved Seb and Omi) were able to immerse ourselves in the wizarding world as much as we wanted and I am so happy 🥹💓

These are Seb and Omi that I drew a year ago, when I first got into HL... Ominis is almost bald, I drew Sebastian's parting wrong, and I'm embarrassed to look back at them now 🫠 Thanks to my addiction to HL, I've seriously learnt how to draw handsome men and I've grown up a bit, but on the other hand, I've forgotten how to draw women because I'm always drawing eyeless OCs... Anyway, I need to leave the preparations for the move and do some drawing 😩

Ominis and Japanese!MC when intimate...

There are many different cultures between Japan and the West, but when I started reading and watching smut created by people from overseas when I first started participating in HL fandom, I was surprised to find a particularly big cultural difference: the way women behave during sex!

In Japan, there is a tendency to think that it is sexy for women to behave moderately shy during sex without being too aggressive. In Japanese pornographic manga and novels, it is very common for women to say "嫌/駄目（no)" while panting, with a pleasant look on their faces. (⚠This is just to say that such a tendency is more common than in the West, and not all Japanese men are looking for women who are shy in bed! It depends on the individual 🤣)

Having spent 30 years in Japan with such values, when I read porno novels in HL fandom, I was very surprised to see f!MCs(f!OC) behaving so aggressively in bed! 🙈

From what I have read, there are not many f!MCs who are overly shy or use negative words such as "no" as a moan. This is a very interesting cultural difference for me as a Japanese!👀

I didn't get used to the behaviour of these MCs at first, but now that I've read a lot of international smut, I'm very attracted to MCs who are sexually active and Seb and Omi who enjoy sex with her to the fullest 🥵💞

And when I draw smut, I try to imitate the behaviour of the MCs in those from abroad, without making them too overly shy or negative.

In the Japanese version on the right, the MC says: "No. Don't thrust deep inside me!" In terms of Japanese values, she is far-fetched: 'I feel so good when you thrust deep inside me!' in Japanese, but a direct translation as it is would probably be considered strange by Westerners, so the English version adopts a more positive language for clarity. (I'm a complete novice when it comes to translation, so I don't know if this is the correct translation 😂)

In making smut about the sexual behaviour of Westerners such as Sebastian and Ominis, I try to portray the MC's behaviour in bed as positively as possible, but I cannot erase my Japanese values, and perhaps I may be depicting MC behaviour that looks strange to Westerners at times. I hope you don't mind the details 🤣 But it's fun to think and learn about the cultural differences between countries while watching, reading and making various smut in this fandom! I'd like to draw more smut when I'm free in real life after the move 😌

On a side note, When I first read smut in this fandom, another thing that surprised me, besides the differences in MC behaviour, was that both men and women often say 'F*CK' during sex! 😮 In Japan, we are taught that F*CK is a very bad word that should never be used, so for Seb and Omi to use these words was surprise to me as a Japanese person! I have been wondering for about a year now if it is actually common in the West to use these words during sex …👀

When I draw recently, I record a time-lapse to prevent problems, but I am having trouble with CLIP STUDIO PAINT running very slowly while recording 😫 My old computer is not going to be able to stand recording everything, so from now on I'm going to turn off the time-lapse recording function after recording up to drafting (or 3D model adjustment), line drawing and priming 🥺 That's the last time I'll post a time-lapse recording.

And I want to be able to draw sexy male hands without a 3D model...😂
