Rediscovering My Blog Site

I have re discovered my Blog Site. I guess I was too busy being mom and this kinda didnt come up. But then my Niece Jennifer said, why don’t you go and write Blogs to let everyone know about your journey with being an Officer and doing other community service to inspire others? Well, this is it!! September 3, 2020, I am doing this again!! I will continue after today and will just share my life with you all. Till my next Blog. Bye for now!!

In The Beginning

I started this blog site in like 2012 with the help of my officemate whose site was just so cool. Make up and how to’s. She taught some stuff, but the rest, I guess I will yet learn more. My name is Tammy and this is my site. I love to read posts on Facebook or read online news or articles and post my comments, opinions and suggestions. I also love to make my personal posts. Anything and everything under the sun. Then my other friend suggested I blog it rather than post on Facebook. Thus, Tamitah was reborn.

Tamitah was the nickname my friends baptized me with way back in College. So I thought it was good enough to identify me easily.

Today is January 12 and it’s the 34th year  Death Anniversary of my dad, the late Atty. Justo L. Albert. Former Congressman of the 4th District of Manila. I am truly gratefull and blessed to be an Albert, I will tell you in this “All about me blog”.  My  parents adopted me in 1968 (I was a cute blondish brown haired cute one and a half year old ( 1 ½) girl who was crawling the dirty pavements of a province here in the Philippines.  My biological dad, an American Navyman, left my Filipina wife and went back to the United States. I hardly recall much except I would be crawling in the pavement and asked for food to eat, butt naked or sometimes, if lucky, with at least  a few clothes on. I remember being lifted up by a beautiful woman who carried me and never let me go, that woman was my mom, Virginia.

I already had polio at the age I was adopted and the Albert’s being well off, had my feet operated on since I was crawling and when I tried to stand up my feet were shaped like a ballerina’s, with an arch or some sort they explained. I recall feeling so much pain of being told to exercise every single morning by mom and holding on to the edge of a huge book shelf or some sort of China Cabinet. I remembered being watched by my mom every single morning and every single day, doing the same thing of walking from one end to the other. I would cry and complain, but my mom insisted on this saying I would benefit from it someday.

I recall our house in Pasig, it was H U G E!! I remember the big garden , the stairs like the ones you see in those movies with the princess gliding down the staircase with her long dress… I remember a wishing well, a Santol tree (ohhh I have a horrid story to tell about that tree), but I will tell it late when I introduce my siblings.

I love my mom and dad, but I must tell you how I adore admire and just love my siblings. Our eldest is Kuya (its Filipino for brother) Chips, then Ate (for sister) Anna, Ate Mariles, Ate Vicky, Ate Vida, Ate Nadine and Kuya Joey.  We also have a half brother, Toots.

Kuya Chips has two girls, Jennifer and Charisse (yes more great memorable stories to tell too!). He was like my 2nd dad and I was like feeling attached to him at certain times of my growing up years. Then remarried and has 4 more kids where he now lives in Australia.

Ate Anna, has 4 kids, but one died February 6th, 1993 or somewhere there. Too sad for me to even remember. Eldest was Tracy, (my best bud and sister from my sister) then Bam, Joseph and youngest is Joshua. Ate Mariles the feisty super vocal of them all sister, has 3 kids, Marvi Julie and Michelle, all married and very much settled. Ate Vicky remains single, so did Ate Vida, Ate Nadine (the songbird of the family) has 3 kids, Sam, Brian and Adam. My brother Joey just has Darren and of course there’s Toots, who remains single as of this writing.

More to come when I return……. I will talk about my sweet and memorable relationship with my parents, siblings and nieces and nephews. Till the next blog, toodles. :)

jack of all trades

for the past few weeks, I have tried everything from being a mom, a good office person and a doctor.  I had so many deadlines, things to attend to at work, people to call set up schedules for interviews, and whenI come home, be a mom and doctor to my two kids who were down with the flu. cough and cold with fever going up to 41. yes, im used to their fever being like that, my eldest daughter was like that too during her baby years.

again i also had to be a doctor my dying dog. yup, we have a mixed breed dog, half local and half chihuahua. Cute little dog and I already lost our first dog last week so i didnt want this little baby of ours to just let go. I gave him a nice a nice warm bath, gave him a nice massage, fed him in a baby bottle with milk or with oatmeal mixed with water, lots of water. And of course put paracetamol to make sure he got well. And guess what, sunday morning he started walking around and walked to our laundry area where it was nice and sunny to get a nice warm sun tan!

Jacob is his name and my kids love this dog despite us not having a breed dog. we cant afford one as Im a  solo parent and I just got a nice simple puppy then to make my kids happy.

Yup, that's what I do, a jack of all trades. Work well, try to make both kids happy and bond with the dog!

Just starting this blog

Today is the first day and my very first time to write a blog. I havent done this and being a newbee, i really still groping for what I want to say. Im excited because I have so many things i want to write about. Mixed emotions about what to really write about. But I know as I go along my way, I will eventually release the "hidden talent" within of expressing in writing my thoughts, feelings, opinions on various topics. By the way, I am a very opinionated person and I will now use this to do that.

Ive done a few researches about topics to blog or to write about, but really the best is what's inside of you. How you feel the very moment you start clicking on that keyboard and just expressing....
