defspiral Center of the Spiral Bringing Phantom of the Opera to mind, “NIGHTMARE” welcomed a special guest onstage. Violin in hand, Rookie Fiddler from the band A(Ace) gave his own touch to the song—the live violin giving a lovely flair to the piece. Both hands on the mic stand, TAKA growled in a deep, threatening tone like a prince of the darkness commanding his legion of night warriors. The violin then took the honors for the lovely “Serenade” with drums following suit. The beat intensified along with feisty guitar and a bass line that set heads free to thrash violently amid earsplitting growls. Thanking Rookie as he made his exit, defspiral dove into the final round of fast-paced songs. “SALVAGE” got the crowd shouting in one voice at sound of the tittle while “RESISTANCE” brought the members to the front, one by one, for short solos.
