We speak a bit about how the tradwife fantasy is mainly about an aversion to the capitalist ratrace, but I think this extends too to antifeminist women fantasising about different childhoods. So many of them argue that they had ‘feminist’ mothers who focused on their careers, didn’t let them engage in particular elements of femininity and were pressured into university and white collar pathways. Their fantasy of what a nonfeminist childhood would look like usually just implies a lot of wealth and leisure: slumber parties, ballet/gymnastics/figure skating lessons, being told to just focus on finding a man and not worry about a job, lots of makeup and clothes, baking, never working outdoors and getting dirty etc. These antifeminists ignore that the essentials of female socialisation as a child has little to do with income level or dressing a girl up but socialising her that she exists to please others, to shut up and do as she’s told and make men’s life easier. Antifeminists grow up with female socialisation, wishing they had more wealth and leisure, idealise an uberfeminine rich childhood and blame feminists that they didn’t get it.

Growing up in the church and and growing into a queer Christian, I can, without a doubt say that queer/LGBTQ+ Christians have much greater faith than our straight brothers and sisters.
As LGBTQ+ Christians we suffer a lot of disdain and discrimination from other Christians in church. The Church as an institution has hurt, shamed, exciled, and alienated the whole LGBTQ+ community.
Yet, LGBTQ+ Christians still seek God, still seek community, still seek fellowship and a relationship with God.
We actively try to seek God and community knowing that we will be hurt, shamed, exciled and alienated. We know that most likely we won't be accepted.
Yet we still have so much faith in God, that all that doesn't matter. We have faith that God does accept us and loves us. No matter what others say or do. We keep coming back to God and sometimes the church, because of our faith. May we be able to keep that faith and be an example of faith and be blessed!
Tldr: LGBTQ+ Christians have the strongest faith! May we be an example of faith to all! God bless yall!

Blessed pride!!!!! To all of my queer Christians, especially the ones who are struggling, God really does love you just as you are. You are holy and cherished and there's nothing that can take that away. For me, pride is also about how no one can isolate me from Christ's love, no matter how hard they try. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside our Father's care! Don't be afraid!! You're worth more than many sparrows!!

This is a reminder to all of the queer Christian community of all different shapes and sizes:
You ARE valid, no matter what anyone says. Your pastor has no right to dictate morals grounded in hate, nor does any church need to be your cornerstone, when Christ alone will suffice. You are so incredibly perfect and wonderful as you are!
I love you!

being gay is not a sin. being lesbian is not a sin. being bisexual is not a sin. being pansexual is not a sin. being transgender is not a sin. being non binary is not a sin. being genderfluid is not a sin. being aromantic is not a sin. being asexual is not a sin. being queer is not a sin. I can't speak for all religions but I can and WILL speak for Christianity. Fuck anyone who tries to force their personal bigotry onto you. Fuck anyone who tries to make their interpretation of religion the law.
