i just got a new drawing tablet and slowly figuring out how to use it. i still prefer using physical materials, in fact i can’t sketch for the life of me on the tablet so i did the initial sketch on paper and scanned it to the tablet.

Here is my newest character. Titania, a young witch, who gets stuck on Earth. She doesn’t have anywhere else to go so she lives in the school’s lost and found while she tries to get back to her home, but finds a friendship with Faith, a genius chemist who is in high school despite her young age. Faith doesn’t believe in Titania’s magic and teaches her about human magic and love.

today’s work in progress! i’m trying something new. for the finished style, i want to not have to outline in pen, so i’m building up the colours instead of doing solid washes. i’m actually really loving it, it’s more time consuming than i’m used to but i’m very proud of it so far!
