Nova Scotia
I have fallen in love at first sight once in my life.
On a balcony in a foreign country, I leaned into the sunset and sprout of trees on the horizon. When the last rays of sun disappeared, the stars began to shine.

It is so easy too sound beyond cheesy when I try to convey this experience. You have to experience it for yourself to understand. A two hour flight out of New York lies the bustling city Halifax. The capital of Nova Scotia, Halifax was placed first in Canadian cities by quality of life (MoneySense, 2012). It’s agriculture, fishing, forestry, mining, and natural gas businesses are flourishing. Not only rich in resources, its a government hub.

Travel North for three hours (partly on a beautiful ferry), and you’ll arrive in Prince Edward Island. You may recognize it from the NETFLIX Series, based on a world famous book, Anne of Green Gables.

I have had the privilege of seeing the red cliffs of P.E.I.

Travel from Halifax three hours to Richmond County, and you’ll find where I fell in love. Oh, and be sure to look out for the Simpson house and the sign post forest.

Here is the home I thought I would spend the rest of my life in. We kitted it out with a brand new roof, started renovations, and enrolled the children in the local school... and then my husband received a job offer he couldn’t refuse.

(detached office)

Following my brilliant husband, I left this piece of paradise to move to California. As sad as saying goodbye was, I know its finally time to let go. To allow someone else to fall in love with this home I rarely visit.

If you are interested in this property, this lifestyle, and this paradise Shoot me an email at [email protected] See the listing here!

Ah Spanish style! My absolute favorite. The smooth walls and curved doorways, the warm colors against the blue sky. Can you imagine living in a home like this? Paradise (at Morgan Hill, California)
