anorexia nervosa

Some people think the worst part of anorexia is the hunger pains, it isn’t.

The worst parts of anorexia are

~ never being satisfied

~ not being understood

~ not getting the help you need and being treated like your cured because you were able to stomach a snickers

~ the sit ups at 1am because you couldn’t bare looking at your arm fat anymore

~ losing your friends because they hate what your doing

~ having your family try to force feed you (this might have only happened to me)

~ people’s comments about you

~ hating yourself

~ purging when your family is in the other room

~ shame

~ knowing you need to fix this problem but you can’t

~ a number can completely ruin your entire week

~ recovery hurts

~ getting better, only to get worse

~ calories are terrifying

~ hospitals

This is only a taste to merely open people’s eyes to the real nature of eating disorders. Keep in mind this has only been my personal experience and opinion.

Si alguien te dice que una determinada canción es importante para el, debes subir el volumen, acostarme en tu cama, cerrar los ojos y escucharla realmente, incluso si dura 10 minutos, porque al final conocerás a esa persona mucho mejor de lo que crees.
