Horary Astrology Basics

Horary Astrology is basically a divinatory form of astrology. You ask a question and can infer the answer based on the placements of when the question is asked by the querent (or yourself).

-The person asking the question is always signified by the first house. The ruler of the rising sign (Mercury for Gemini, Jupiter or Neptune for Pisces depending on modern or traditional rulership). Experiment with modern or traditional rulerships to figure out what works best for you.

-Squares and oppositions to the significator of the rising (ruling planet) usually means no. Trines and sextiles to the significator usually means yes.

-Only look at applying aspects when analyzing a horary chart.

-Saturn or Mars involvement (conjunct, square, opposition) to the significator of the rising (ruling planet) usually means no. Jupiter or Venus involvement (conjunct, trine, sextile) with the significator usually means yes.

-Jupiter or Venus in the 1st quadrant, 1H-3H usually means yes.

-The Moon is the co-ruler of the chart after the rising significator.

-Questions asked during a Void of Course Moon can’t be answered.

-Rising or Moon combust means the question can’t be answered, which stretches from 15 deg Libra to 15 deg Scorpio.

-If a question is asked when the Rising is at 0-3 degrees, the question may be asked too early. If the question is asked at 27-29 degrees, the querent probably already knows the answer.

-Questions are hard to answer if Saturn is placed in the 7H.

-Retrograde planets should still be considered as long as the aspects are applying.

-Mutual reception between planets (i.e. Gemini Venus and Taurus Mercury) usually mean yes.

I think people with prominent aquarius placements tend to like the idea of being perceived as intellectual rather than doing the actual work or feeling the brunt of being an intellectual. ❀˖° When looking at your Solar Return Chart, check the Synastry it has with your Natal Chart. It will tell you where those placements are felt within you. For example, my SRC’s Sun is in 12H and fall in my 10H this year. I’m having a lot of mental breakdown when it comes to my career, and since it conjuncts a big stellium of mine in my Natal, I just feel like my whole world is falling apart 🥲

Hi, i’m sure you’ve heard of the ariana grande stuff. Cheating and stealing boyfriends/husbands. Is there a part of her chart that you’d attribute this to?

Let’s take a look:

HER PLANETS:

Ariana have her Venus, Lilith & Ascendant in a Scorpio degree (20°) + her Mars is in her 8th house. All this Scorpio energy makes her very drawn to secret and taboo relationships and also situations where she holds the power. Venus in a Scorpio degree can make someone highly competetive with other women and enjoy forbidden relationships.

Her Venus is Square Saturn/Chiron and Opposite Pluto indicating a low self esteem and a deep rooted sense of having to compete with and win over other women. She was probably hurt herself by love once and now she lets the pain spill over onto others. Venus/Saturn shows that she was not considered attractive when younger and now that she is finally considered attractive its time to play it and finally get a taste of that power that other women had over her when she was unattractive.

Her Sun Square Jupiter shows ego issues. This gives a STRONG need to boost the ego to cover up for a lack of self esteem. This also shows that she feels a sense of moral supriority. ”I do what I want but you cant”.

Her 7th house ruler is conjunct Jupiter so no wonder she have such luck in getting what she wants when it comes to partners.

Her Saturn in the 2nd house shows a very low self esteem and insecurity surrounding her body and looks which adds to the need to compete. This also shows lack of self worth which makes her attracted to low life cheater men.

Lilith(h13) in the 2nd house shows questionable moral values or even a complete lack of a moral code.

Chiron, Sado(118230) and Juno(3) all conjunct eachother in Leo in the 7th house shows just a huge mess when it comes to what she is attracted to. Definitely attracted to situations with a touch of pain, drama and even sadism. A relationship based on pain. Reminds me of the people who leave their partner at the altar to run away with someone else and getting turned on by the situation, sadism.

Her Waldemath(h58) Lilith is conjunct her Venus. According to me Waldemath Lilith is the darkest of all so she likes some messed up stuff. Here we also see dark feelings towards other women and a twisted sense of female rivalry until she grows up and learn that women are not the enemy.

Paine(5188) conjunct her North Node shows a lifetime of inflicting pain on others because anything conjunct the North Node is a life theme.

Her Mars is conjunct Asmodeus(2174) the demon of lust and one of the kings of hell under lucifer and satan.

Nessus(7066) and Dejanira(157) conjunct MC shows that the whole victim/abuser thing is a part of her life. Since its conjunct Psyche these themes are part of her mentality. And since its conjunct MC its there for everyone to see.

Hi! Yes birth charts for countries exist and transits can definitely show disaster. Examples of the natal charts:

🇸🇾SYRIA: Syria having Pluto in the 1st house and Mars in the 10th house and MC in Aries and is one of the worlds worst countries because of the number of mines planted and because if being the most war ravaged country in the world. Syria also have Moon conjunct the Ascendant and is known as one of the top 3 worst countries to be a woman in.

🇦🇺AUSTRALIA: Australia have Sun and Saturn in the 6th house and is known for its animals. More than 80% of our plants, mammals, reptiles and frogs are unique to Australia and are found nowhere else in the world.

- I one time had saturn conjunct south node, pluto and vertex in the 4th house square chiron in the 7th with my old crush in middle school and it was the most painful experience that i ever went through. Trying to get over him but I just couldnt because I was stuck for some reason. We kept repeating the same hurtful behaviors over and over. Not to mention it was in capricorn and when I overlapped it to my natal, the stellium conjuncted my natal venus. It definitely transformed me and was something that completely changed me as a person. I dont regret it at all though because im so much stronger now.

- Your ascendant for sure gives first impressions and the feeling of the relation. I have a cancer ascendant with my best friend, and when I first met him two years ago I felt instantly comfortable with him.
