i was in a car accident today that i fully caused by making a judgment error and pulling out too soon. my car is almost certainly totaled, the other car is fine, i'm in pain.

the first thing i did when i put my car in park was run to the car i hit to see if they were ok and they just kept screaming at me that i was a horrible awful person and they forced me to tell whichever family member they were on the phone with that it was all my fault. and i'm not trying to pity myself, the accident was my fault, but idk it's kind of hard to be yelled at by people while my car that i can't afford to replace is destroyed and they have a little dent in the side. i thought i died for a minute. and then i just had to sit on the side of the street for like 2 hours waiting for my tow truck to come to a busy intersection while everyone looked at me like i was a sideshow. i have no clue what i'm going to do now.
