I am Falestine, Jad Al-Haq, I am 37 years old, married, and I have a eight-month-old child named Youssef. I gave birth to him during the war during very harsh conditions that no human being can bear. I moved from the hospital immediately after giving birth to the tent in which we were staying after we were displaced to it after the Israeli bulldozers completely bulldozed my house. and my suffering did not start from here. Rather, it began since the beginning of the war, and I am still suffering. I cannot provide enough milk for my baby or diapers. Even medicines and vitamins are not available.

I ask you for your urgent help in disseminating the link to my family and communicating it to people interested and able to help us.  I didn't want to do it, but the tragic situation we are living in is what pushed me to do it.  I feel sad and helpless, after we had everything, we are now homeless on the streets, living in a tent next to a dilapidated public toilet and there is sewage, dirt and waste everywhere, we sleep on it!  We suffer from terrible heat, insects, scorpions, the danger of death, bombs and missiles, in addition to hunger of course, the danger of pollution and terrible diseases, especially the digestive, respiratory and reproductive systems!

.  My father and mother could not bear it any longer. My father had a stroke after losing his home and his place of work, and my mother suffers from chronic diseases and needs treatment.

  Do you have the right to imagine that when you spend your life building for yourself and your children to live a decent life, all of this disappears in the blink of an eye, and now when you reach the age where you should rest, you are forced to start again!!?  But the most important thing now is to try to survive and protect your children from all the factors of death that surround us!  I ask everyone who has humanity or conscience to feel our situation and put themselves in our place.  How can someone who has lived with dignity all his life accept this?  We are slowly dying every day.

Your donation, no matter how small, can have a big impact.  It can provide a meal for my little one, a clean bottle of water, or a moment of safety under these difficult circumstances.  Every donation brings with it a ray of hope, alleviating our suffering and giving us the strength to face a new day.

my full piece for @harriertail’s cover zine! huge project and it turned out amazing, thank you for having me again!

my piece for @harriertail's warrior cat cover zine, which can be found here! this was the first big project i have been involved in, and i had a blast working on it :3 thank you so much for including me!

some progress things below!

side note, this was the first drawing i made after switching from medibang to clip studio paint. it took me extra long because i didn't know how to use the tools or brushes lol.

to start off, i wanted to capture frostpaw's initial joy and whimsy, but also set an ominous feeling, like things aren't quite right here.

one of my first ideas was frostpaw finding the star-shaped leaf. although i liked this idea, i wasn't confident in my ability to draw this background, and i felt that the colors leaned too dark and dramatic.

another idea was mistystar having her heart attack. these colors were closer to what i wanted- the bright yellow colors of the original cover- but i felt that frostpaw should be the main focus.

i combined some elements, resulting in frostpaw and the star-shaped leaf in the foreground, with mistystar in the background. mistystar eventually migrates to the sky, inspired by the polish covers.

i still wasn't happy with my colors, and i was struggling to draw the cloudy sky. i decided that a water feature would be a good idea, since this book heavily features riverclan, and i gave up the purple colors i had been trying to integrate.

finally i landed on the colors and composition that i was happy with, which leads to the finished product!

Today is World Hunger Day, which falls on May 28th of each year. This day was launched in 2011 by The Hunger Project to raise awareness about the global hunger crisis and encourage sustainable efforts to eradicate hunger.

This day is an opportunity to participate in hunger-fighting efforts, whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness through social media. It also highlights the importance of improving maternal nutrition as a fundamental step to breaking the cycle of malnutrition that has been passed down through generations.

This is a very important day for Gaza, where hunger and severe malnutrition are omnipresent among its children. My children are among those who see a full stomach as an unattainable dream, experiencing nothing but fear, hunger, and deprivation of their most basic rights. They need your support to live a life like your children's, a life every child deserves. Don't say you can't do anything, but do what you can do here. Interact and donate to my children who have suffered from malnutrition due to the hunger that has not left them since the beginning of the war because of the high prices. My name is Inas Imad, from Gaza, and I am 30 year old wife and first time expecting mother living in the most unimaginable and dire circumstances for over a year now. Three years ago I married my best friend and have struggled trying to start a family. Even after this war began, my husband and I did not lose hope in starting our family and we continued in determination to live and to bring new life into this world. I am now currently pregnant with our first child, however due to the consequences of this war, I am faced with a high risk, dangerous pregnancy according to the doctor and I am very afraid that if I do not get get adequate nutrition, the medications, and supplies that I need, I will lose my child. The doctor has ordered medication to be given by injection throughout my pregnancy to help me carry my baby to term, however I do not have the money to purchase the medication and syringes needed, nor do we have the money to purchase adequate nutrition. Life here in Gaza is very difficult and we become more hopeless by the day. My husband and I had just started to build our lives together. We had a nice home where we had planned to start our family, and now we are subjected to living in a tent where there is no bathroom and we spend our nights just trying to get warm. It has been difficult being pregnant and not having a bathroom or even a bed to sleep on, but I want my child more than anything. The only hope we have left is in our baby and I am asking you to stand with us. Please, help us in any way you can to save our child. We feel very alone and abandoned, but we are determined to live and we want to see our child be one of the miracles that comes out of Gaza. Any amount you can donate, no matter how small, means the world to us. We will never forget you standing with us. Please, help me to evacuate from Gaza so that I can see my dream of being a mother and bringing my beautiful baby into this world to make it a better place and helping my husband and I be able to watch our child grow up. We will be forever grateful to you.

My child is dying in my arms.. and I'm powerless to save him 🍉🍉💔

How does a father write an obituary for his son while he's still in his arms? How can I describe the feeling of helplessness as I watch my child suffocate, tremble, and groan in pain, and I can do nothing but cry?

Mohammed, my soul, my heartbeat, faces death right in front of me. He looks at me with eyes filled with pain, as if asking, "Dad, why don't you save me?" And I have no answer. I have nothing but my tears falling down his little face, as if they're an apology for not being a father capable of protecting him.

My son is dying, and his days are slipping away from me like water through my fingers. He suffers from severe lung infections, and his small body can't take any more. The doctors told me in cold voices, "The only solution is urgent surgery, or else...!" They didn't finish their sentence, but I heard it all in their deadly silence.

But how can I save him when I can't afford a life? How can I accept that money be the barrier between me and seeing my child grow up? The amount demanded is huge, and I stand before it, penniless except for my hope in God and my supplications to you.

I am not asking for help, I am asking for life... a life for my child before he departs... before I bury him, knowing I did not do enough to save him.

Please... do not let him die... do not leave me to carry his shroud and carry him to his grave, knowing I could have saved him had a merciful hand reached out to me.

Any support, any assistance, even if it is simply sharing this appeal, could be the difference between life and death... it could be the miracle by which I save my child from the death that creeps closer to him every minute.
