When someone languages outside of what people think is normal, others can think they are bad with language, or are not as smart as someone else. No one is actually ‘bad with language.’ We want to help people understand that no language is bad. It is okay to want to change your language use if it will make you feel better. ugh I was going to lay down and read for a while and as soon as I got cozy I remembered that i forgot to take my meds with my meal and I can't put it off til later because Bad Things Will Happen if I take it on an empty stomach

Adriana Smith’s neonate was delivered today, 3 months early (around 28 weeks).
She will finally be allowed to rest and taken off of life support.
Her family’s fundraiser is nowhere near its goal, and now they have tremendous NICU costs to look forward to based on how her son was able (or unable) to develop under the duress of all those life saving drugs they pumped his mom full of.
Please allow this mother’s spirit to rest and support their family as they’re finally allowed to grieve poor Adriana being used as an incubator for the state.

#log entry#uhhhhh this one is a sapphic romance between a sorcerer and a death goddess's priestess. maybe the sorcerer is a necromancer. and the#priestess is sent to stop the necromancer because she is messing with the order of things. the temple actually sent the priestess bc the#necromancer reanimated some minor nobility whose family had enough pull to get the temple to something but not enough to send more than one#fairly green priestess to do something about it. perhaps the necromancer first makes contact with the priestess in like a sort of civilian#guise. maybe she pretends to be the necromancer's daughter who is trying to live a quiet life away from her parents antics and does a cat#and mouse thing with the priestess. and then obviously the big reveal is the necromancer's identity. uh i dont have much else.#just a generic. hm. toxic yuri?

#log entry#those random spinny wheels want me to read about assassins i guess!#this one has the potential to be interesting. high fantasy court intrege and narrated by the assassins protoge#unsure if there would be a columbo style prologue or not. protoge's crush conducts a seance or ritual to communicate with the assassin#for clues. however the love interest is a fraud and is making stuff up leading in wrong direction. is this star crossed lovers? or is it#just relatively innocent garden variety seance scam. unsure at this point but makes for a good source of interpersonal conflict.#wait. love interest is definitely either the court magician or some sort of hedge witch. unsure. i have just been sketching this for the#past however many minutes#i think the killer is either the assassin's last target or maybe one of the sovereign guards who killed them on accident.#or the assassin was not the target and accidently consumed something that was poisined / tainted with an allergin both they and the target#share. idk. again spitballing. i obviously need enrichment. going to spin the wheels again and then sleep.

#wings of assassins#ok so i am going to get into the weeds here. if its a ya fantasy novel probably not. i enjoy fantasy! but i am an adult and my patience#for y.a. type antics is pretty low at this point. however if its an adult book solid maybe. scales would be tipped if it is spec fic.#like i could easily see this being some sort of spy thriller sort of deal which is not my thing. although spy thriller in a fantasy setting#you might have me paying attention again. anyways. maybe depending on genre. would be swayed by cover art + dust jacket blurb.
