Further Hunter x Hunter observations as I watch it for the first time:

If anyone was gonna have the “I can activate 100% Nen in all the categories” over-powered broken ability of doom it HAD to be Kurapika. His morality is the firmest and is the only thing that would keep an ability like that in check. Kurapika is lawful good, he’s gonna follow that moral code strictly because he believes it’s the best way to do good.

Leorio wouldn’t kill anyone with it, but he sure as hell would use it to render any other fights pointless. Instant healing for all baby! And he would 1000% use it to scam people. It’d totally break any obstacles the group comes across. Leorio is chaotic good: he’s gonna do good in whatever way he thinks is most convenient/efficient regardless of code.

Killua would just insta-death people who annoyed him enough. He would still kill fewer people than Gon would with this power however...because his insane power level would render most murder boring and not worth his time. He’s chaotic evil in that he’s gonna do what he wants when he wants it...but that will also limit the destruction because he’s not gonna go out of his way to do evil if it’s not fun for him.

Gon though. Shit. If Gon had basically unlimited power like that? Everyone would be so fucked. Gon is lawful neutral af. He legit don’t care if you kill someone as long as he isn’t personally affected. He sees nothing wrong with shifting morality. All he cares about is if you fight him that everything is fair. To Gon, if you come up to him and say “I want to fight you to the death” and he responds with “ok, but just so you know, I am crazy powerful and can squish you easy” and the opponent says “yeah sure ok” because why would you believe that he’s an adorable kid who looks like he’s 80lb soaking wet and is completely guiless...if someone fights him and gives it their all and Gon was honest about his abilities and also gives it his all to Gon that is a perfectly moral fight. He would kill so many people guys. So. Many.

if a fictional character gets stabbed, they have only 2 valid options:

1. slowly raise their hand to the wound and/or pull the weapon impaling them out while everyone stares in horror before collapsing to the ground from shock and/or blood loss and being caught just in time by their friend/sibling/love interest

2. hide the wound beneath a dark item of clothing in preparation for the dramatic reveal later where another character touches them and their hand comes away bloody or they overexert themselves and they stumble and wince but still try to insist they’re fine, even though they’re clearly in pain and struggling to stay on their feet, and as the other character peels back their jacket it becomes clear that they’re badly hurt and have been for a while (bonus points if they’re wearing a white shirt underneath)
