Also, I got curious and inverted FP's first dialogue and heard??? nothing??? I guess the audio is just so fucked up it's unintelligible basically.

But while hearing it I think I have a good idea of the effects they used, and since I'm silly I decided to recreate it. Here's pebbles' iconic "A little animal, on the floor of my chamber. I then applied a ring modulator (if you know Doctor Who, it's what they use for Daleks), pitch shifted up, added an echo and reversed it (not in that order I already forgot which order), and got this:

It's not a good recreation in the slightest but with enough messing with the specific effects something closer could be achieved.

I think it (might, or at least should be) something to embrace about breeds. Some one specific thing in which they are Fucked Up.

Bogsneaks can have that, while for example Imperials have the whole zombie thing. Maybe original Ancients (I.E. made by the deities or not born during modern times) could have a rare disease or something that happens with aging/stress/etc, they slowly turn into their element. Dusthides into rocks, solidifying slowly like a crystal, Undertides into a small river or lake, Sandsurges evaporating with a flash due to the ephemeral nature of their element.

Breeds of the Windsinger could turn deadly sick if not exposed to wind, of the Tidelord unusually tired if in a dry or hot environment, of the Plaguebringer their diseases could cure if not careful and could need to be "uncured" by a "rotcod", (used informally, they're probably called Reinvigorators).

Guardians' health is related to their Charges, while largely static things like objects make them live long lifes, a village might make them sick if the members of it dislike each other, and this way maybe the Guardians can not only die defending their Charges, but also for not being able to defend them.

I don't know a lot about other breeds, probably could come up with more if I did.
