I feel like the discussion of who's the strongest ccg protagonist or who'd win if they all fought each other in a battle would end so fast,,
The straight and most factually correct answer is DW! Player and it's not even close.
Other protags don't got anywhere near the same feats as DW Player has,,
They ain't soloing several of the strongest tamers in the entire island and just casually walking away without batting an eye like Player does. Not even factoring the Blue Strings into this,
DW! Player pre-blue strings had managed to obtain at least two keys, not exactly an easy feat considering that they only stopped getting keys likely due to Zavier being part of the equation.
Tumblr media
Other protags are strong sure, like they've taken down evil organizations and plans before,, But Player DW out here just casually squaring up against beings like Qilintel who is a war veteran and actively helped in the Doodle War. And the Shadow Clan, who by all accounts are trained assassins and who's strength can only be matched by the Adventuring Unit.
Tamers who are so skilled due to their boss being someone who BOUGHT a whole ass location in the Battle Arena just to gather data for them to get stronger. And their boss quite literally is all about strength.
Tumblr media
And again, who are so skilled, that people on the island think no one is stronger than them. And defeating them is impossible.
Tumblr media
They are essentially soldiers, even dressing the part, Player has the same capabilities, if not more, than the literal soldiers in their universe.
Tumblr media
Factoring the Blue Strings into this, then they even more screwed, they got a whole ass entity that fought IN THE WAR, and was an important part in actually WINNING the war.
Ain't no way these protags from Loomian Legacy and Tales of Tanorio going up against someone who's so strong, they even get the strongest tamers questioning who DW! Player is. They squaring up with someone who's on demon time for practically half of their adventure, and they ain't even got their full powers unlocked yet. They be doing all that shit without even being aware of the entity inside them until the end of Icyridge. LL! Player and TOT! Player ain't standing a chance. They might be skilled and even a prodigy if we take TOT! Player's lore, but they aren't anything like DW! Player canonically. They aren't even bad tamers in a lore standpoint. They're like Quincy and TJ, they aren't bad tamers, and in fact really good and strong tamers in their own right. But you just ain't squaring up against DW Player and winning in most cases. Keep in mind, DW! Player is described as "kid" or at least younger than most adults, and treated as such. Ain't no way a teenager got whole adults questioning and being straight up afraid of em.

You ever think Suzie and Quincy looked at each other when TJ said he wanted to fight Player for the key?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like Suzie here can be interpretated asking in the tone of "Dude, wtf" and also "Are you sure you want to go through with that" Suzie and Quincy have witnessed them go against four Shadow Clan rogues. One of them being Kaze himself. And they were all there when they saw Player beat Captain Silvier easily, unlike TJ who "almost" to beat Captain Silvier. Several people are undefeated in Icyridge prior to meeting Player, meaning they are some of the strongest tamers in the island.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Player a whole different beast compared to TJ.
Like Quincy and Suzie were both there when they saw Player whoop the asses of some of the strongest tamers on the island. I also like the detail that Player is ahead of the two in every screenshot, as if taking the front of the hits and protecting them just like against Zavier in Arid Mines. TJ's near victory against Captain Silvier is so far his best achievement in an actual battle so far. Something Player has surpassed him in since they completely beat Captain Silvier. His existence against Chronos don't count as much as he tries to say it is and even that is undermined when Player's able to beat the shit out of Zavier even when he's gotten stronger. Player don't play around when it comes to lives on the line.
Maybe Quincy saved TJ from an even worse ass whooping from Player, considering all the shit talking he's done to them throughout Icyridge.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bro was saving TJ from an ass whooping directly from Player. I mean directly, because we (the blue strings) still end up having to take control of Quincy. I mean, you got here Zavier being so confused with Player.
Tumblr media
Imagine being so fucking strong that the person who your friend group collectively agrees is a threat, starts to question who you are. Like your strength is so baffling, bro gotta ask who the hell you are. This is the same guy who made TJ want to give up the key hunt entirely. And you got bro asking what the hell is going on with you. "Ref do something!!" ahh savior How the fuck did TJ think he stood any chance when he couldn't even beat Captain Silvier much less stand a chance against Kaze. Who all got beat by Player. In the words of Kaze,
Tumblr media
When you so delulu that even the bad guy calls you out on it It was a mercy for him not to face directly against Player. Because bro might just not exist in the timeline anymore after all that shit talking.

Y'know as I was drifting off and my mind wondered. I remembered that some people believe that Khaos and The Witch are two separate entities, When quite literally Desmond literally calls upon Khaos' power and the Witch shows up right after that is so obvious,
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HOW IS THAT NOT A SIGN THAT KHAOS AND THE WITCH ARE THE SAME ENTITY It's giving Zavier and Quincy all over again my goodness... please guys you do not need wish to spell it out every time...

It's been a while since I've cooked up a lore post sorry for not feeding y'all I just had this random thought one random night,, Zavier is Quincy except much more traumatized and hurt due to the circumstances he's been under. And Zavier saying all that his Suzie did, to try and get Quincy to not trust Suzie and get closer to her. He's narratively speaking, sabotaging Quincy. And since Zavier is Quincy. He's quite literally Self Sabotaging himself with his relationships. Zavier is quite literally the physical personification of Self Sabotage for Quincy,
Self-sabotage refers to behaviors or thought patterns that negatively impact one's ability to achieve goals and realize potential. It involves intentional or unintentional actions that create obstacles to personal and professional success, often rooted in fear, self-doubt, and ingrained habits. Essentially, self-sabotage can manifest as habits or thoughts that hold individuals back from living their best lives.
Intentional or not, Zavier did put a wedge in Quincy and Suzie's relationship due to what he's revealed because he's so rooted in his ways. He's Quincy if Quincy went back to being the rich spoiled brat he was and kept people at a distance. Which is something Quincy DOES do for a moment in Icyridge part 2 when Zavier revealed what his Suzie did to him.
Tumblr media
Quincy has shown he goes back to old habits to cope with hurt and betrayal. And Zavier is living proof that he WILL go back to those old habits if he doesn't develop new healthier ones and ends up getting betrayed. That definition I just brought up literally describes what Zavier does with Quincy,
It involves intentional or unintentional actions that create obstacles to personal and professional success, often rooted in fear, self-doubt, and ingrained habits.
Zavier is merely afraid and even doubts himself (quite literally here) that Suzie has changed or doesn't want to hurt him. He believes that since Suzie betrayed him in every timeline, this Suzie isn't any different. Which is why he reveals his identity to Quincy to get him to trust him. Since for Zavier, he can't trust anyone besides himself. That's the old habits he's learned after being used by people so much.
Tumblr media
Essentially, self-sabotage can manifest as habits or thoughts that hold individuals back from living their best lives.
Again, Zavier IS the literal manifestation of Quincy's self sabotage and old habits, to try and keep himself from getting hurt. He tries to get Quincy back to his old habits, the same habits Zavier still has to try and keep himself safe. Yet Quincy doesn't. Quincy reflects on everything that's happened and he chooses not to go back to old habits completely. (Reason he even went back to old habits in the first place, can be explained with the saying, "Old habits die hard" and Zavier ain't exactly dead yet)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's learning to break free of this old habits, because he knows that despite how he was in the past, Someone still gave him a chance and called him a friend despite his walls being guarded. Narratively, Quincy won't ever become Zavier, at least not with what's been told to us. Because Quincy has changed and learning to grow from what he used to be. He's learned that keeping his walls down, while it keeps him vulnerable, he can deal with it as long as he has his friends by his side. And willing to give Suzie a chance again. But that doesn't mean his old habits aren't still there, they are. Zavier's confrontation with Quincy and Suzie is proof that while Quincy has changed a lot and learning to grow, his old habits are still there. And that means, the physical representation of those habits aka Zavier isn't leaving any time soon. No matter how much Zavier has strayed from the timeline, a part of Zavier will always be in Quincy. Since Zavier IS Quincy no matter how much he tries to hide it.
(Side note, maybe design wise, the reason why Zavier hides so much of himself is because he's afraid of letting himself be vulnerable once, his walls are so guarded that it reflects in his design.)

The amount of times I’ve been traumatized upon seeing specific Quincy x TJ fan art within the doodle world space that makes me severely uncomfortable is enough to get me to make me not want to post even more sometimes.
I’ve been traumatized by what I’ve seen to ever view it in a positive light unlike any other ship and that's another very major reason why I don't like it that I forgot to mention.
It’s been ruined too much for me to ever like it ever again. And I’m sorry but I’ll never like it.
And I don't mean to offend the people who like it, I’ve just seen things...

AAAAA SUZIE AND QUINCY ANGST I ADORE THIS the blood on suzie's hands as it's clutched a if holding a knife while quincy is bleeding the words "you weren't a bad person and neither was I, we were just 15" feels fitting considering they're both just teens and "I thought you'd be different" is so heartbreaking since quincy thought that suzie would be different from other people looking to use him suzie was essentially manipulated into backstabbing someone who meant so much to her for something ultimately meaningless in the end for they all died except him, leaving him with just the pain of her betrayal

you'd be surprised to find that I really like competitive battling and story I've to beat John Doodle over 50 times for fun, and bro is based on pvp with full movesets, and items and strategies in place for each doodle he's about as pvp npc as you can get in doodle world and I just like making equally competitive sets to beat him
bold take but doodle world story community and doodle world pvp community should hold hands and frolick together actually

*breath in* tw/// vent
I want to talk about something that's been burdening my shoulders for so long, that's been here ever since I been in Doodle World for a long time. I've genuinely tried to hold it in and just keep it in, yet I can't take it anymore.
If this post changes your view on me, I do apologize and understand if you no longer wish to follow me. This post isn't meant to attack anyone or upset them, I just want to voice my thoughts that's been plaguing me for months.
I don't like Quincy x TJ. I genuinely don't like it and I don't think I ever will I'm not against gay ships, I just don't like Quincy x TJ specifically. I understand that people like this ship due perhaps personal reasonings or just find themselves liking it or liking how they like it in canon. And the way I see them depicted just... irks me the wrong way. Now, I don't mean to attack anyone when I say that. How they are depicted in canon and in the fandom just is just... not my taste. I understand that every fandom will have their mischaracterizations, but this idea of them being "canon" has always irked me. Especially with how Suzie x Quincy is treated within the fandom. Yup, it's one of those posts. I've always been so afraid of speaking about my thoughts about this specific topic. Because I know how much people love Quincy x TJ. It feels like such a disservice to the community, to everyone here that I don't share their same interests. I have been so afraid, so afraid of saying what kind of thing I like because I saw how the community reacts when it comes to this specific ship. How people will blatantly say how little chemistry they have in canon, how it's only between them because it's straight and just putting it down for no real reason...
Isn't the fandom supposed to just welcome non problematic ships?
Why do you guys hate this ship compared to others?
When other ships that don't even have interactions in canon don't get hate?
Is it because its a straight ship?
It's always been a comfort ship of mine, and something I found solace in for anything terrible. And yet I can't even share it with the fear of getting hated on. I've been so afraid that I legit put off on making any lore posts specifically on this ship because of how it'll be perceived by everyone. I'm so tired of the hate towards Quincy x Suzie for no real reason. There's actual problematic ships yet those aren't addressed as they should be. I'm so tired of everything...

Look, at what my friend made for me! They're so talented! I wanna show em off to the Doodle World because they're so great! First up is the Knightly Gorpo.
Tumblr media
This Knightly Gorpo was made because I made a mention of beating John Doodle 1k times, (still currently doing that goal) , and I was like,
"Man, it sucks that there isn't any stickers for beating John Doodle, would be cool if I was honored for beating him like 1,000 times."
And my very talented friend whipped this concept art for me, and I love it a lot. Like a lot lot. The idea behind it is that and I quote from them directly,
"gorpo stumbles into icyridge, proves its worth to john, boom, gets appointed"
It's a neat play on the fact Gorpo really want to get inside Icyridge, and one of them have and now they have proven themselves worthy enough to stay there.
Next we have angy gorpo.
Tumblr media
I have this set as my wallpaper due to how it looks and nice, I love the way it really gives off that "Doodle World aesthetic" with the lines and colors. Not much to say outside of, I really really love it. My friend made this because they were in a rush to get an art exchange with someone else using a specific color palette. And they wanted me to give them a random doodle to draw, so I quickly gave them the suggestion of Gorpo. It's simple, cute, and very easy to draw in a quick span of time. And so they did, and they knocked it out of this world with how well they made it!
Speaking of Gorpo being easy to draw in a quick span of time, I also wanted to include this piece of Gorpo art.
Tumblr media
Absolute peak, no notes. But for real, let's have another simple sketch. This one is based off the Scribbled skin for Gorpo, one where it's sticking its tongue out.
Tumblr media
And the text is a reference to lizards going, "mlem" and we were talking about that and they decided to draw that. Actual Scribbled Gorpo for reference <3
Tumblr media
(look at my son <33)
Just little doodles yet they all mean so much to me because well, they decided to go out of their way to make these very underrated doodles and I can't help but want to show them to the people. Now for the last drawing, which isn't actually about Gorpo. It's about it's evolution, Celestian. Another one of my personal favorites because of how it just LOOKS and how FANTASTIC it looks, like it puts some RESPECT on Celestian's name.
Tumblr media
NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT YAAAAA!!!!
This specific art is referencing one of my many Celestians that I gave to them, to help them with chaining. Because if you didn't know, Celestian and Gorpo are one of the best doodles you can have for chaining. Their main ability is Mimic, allowing you to see what trait the doodle has, making so hunting for a specific trait is a lot easier. And with Starry Glasses, you can also see what stars the doodles have. Making Celestian a free magnifying glass. Where you don't need to pay robux to see a doodle's trait and stars. And the specific one I gave them is based on the Singularity Skin for Celestian with a Purple or Violet tint.
Tumblr media
It's supposed to be a fake misprint due to its pink hue, since I made it for them just to help them with chaining. In fact... This Celestian is especially special since it's the reason we started talking in the first place, where they said they only had a 4 star Celestian. I couldn't let that slide so I printed them a 6 star instead, with a tint and skin for free. And that's another reason why I am particularly fond of this specific Celestian, because it introduced me to a great friend. And I will forever be thankful for this Celestian for the duties it's done.

The closest I can find to foreshadowing something is this moment with Zavier. Since well, he's not supposed to talk to them yet he does anyway, is it because he wants to see Player? Likely. For someone like Zavier, why does he keep going after the keys that Player is coincidentally also going for. Like why not, whilst Player is dealing with Nimbus, go grab the Academy Key. (I know it's for story reasons, he does these things.)
Also, Zavier being Quincy was super obvious from the start, I've seen new players being like, "Yo what happened to Quincy" along those lines. I mean, bro didn't even try to change his hair. The fact it was only in ICYRIDGE where he got caught out, by Suzie nonetheless, who has a keen eye and keen sense of hearing.
Tumblr media
Like I gotta applaud wish for this, because it sounds so out of nowhere yet seems to lead nothing but considering how Suzie recognized Zavier by the sound of his voice. I consider this foreshadowing.
speaking of untapped potential but in a more canon sense imagine what we couldve had if wish_z had planned doodle worlds story from the start and there was actual foreshadowing that suzie and quincy as well as quincy and the player had been friends in previous timelines that are quite easy to shrug off without context but cool as fuck after that reveal. or maybe youd be able to guess the twist already if you recognized from the start that zavier is quincy and feel so smart seeing all the foreshadowing just proving you right. sighs wistfully

Y'know, I woke up today and went, "Bloxburg Lore" and that's exactly what I'll be talking about. Specifically about a specific video that's a fun introspective into two characters, Susan & Sabrina
The specific video I'm going to be talking about is this one by Robuilds and compare it to canon and just analyze the movie. (No hate to them or anyone who made the movie, in fact go check it out, this is just a fun little analysis and comparison to C! Sabrina and C! Susan) (Yes, these two have lore in Bloxburg, I'll get to that in a moment)
youtube
(I can't take this thumbnail seriously-) Sabrina (the witch) actually contrasts Susan (the blonde girl with red glasses) a lot within the movie itself. Sabrina is canonically friends with Susan in the actual Bloxburg, found in her quest line,
"So... I spoke to my friend Susan, and she said that Alan had caught something fishy."
Meaning in that Bloxburg movie Susan, she just like "Yo Susan, want this old building I have?" And Susan was just like "Yeah, sure why not" Sabrina doesn't even seem too worried in the movie, she's so chill like, "Ah yes the fate of Bloxburg lies in your hands... blah blah witch magic stuff slurps drink anyway take these powers and like get outta here" until the end. The basic plot relevance for these two in the movie is that, Susan had a magic book that she found in her shop's basement. Because the building used to belong to Sabrina (in this movie/au) and Susan found that magical book and went wild with power, messing with the other shops so they wouldn't have customers. Because she wants them to feel how she feels on the daily, being ignored and treated harshly. And Sabrina faces off against her in the climax.
(what I'm assuming based on the context of the movie).
"I left that basement behind to make things safer for the people in Bloxburg. It was never meant to be used as a weapon. That spellbook was made to help the community in Bloxburg. To create a stronger bond between the people."
"The only bond this spell book should be creating is between me and the other realms, I don't care about the past. All I care about is how strong I am going to be NOW."
This exchange feels like it could've been some redemption for Susan, since it's clear that she's deeply hurt by the fact she's been isolated from the community or people of Bloxburg in this movie. Like ah yes, Susan just casually found the spell book Susan is quite literally going on a power trip right now. But that's primarily due to the fact she was all alone and left alone in Fancy Furniture for so long and found the book in the first place.
Oh yeah, Susan tampering with shit when she feels ignored is absolutely canon btw. Something that the official Bloxburg twitter account posted.
Sabrina could in fact, go beat the shit out of Susan herself, even calling Susan's power weak, and she does match her.
But instead of going full blast on Susan, Sabrina is still trying to get through to Susan instead. Like girly pop could just blast Susan into nothing.
"Stop this Susan, you're going about this all wrong."
"NEVER!!" Susan tries to zap Sabrina only for her to dodge it.
She quite literally goes Steven Universe in the middle of their confrontation, Sabrina tries to reason with her, despite taking two lightning bolts from her. She doesn't attack Susan until she thinks that Susan won't listen to her otherwise.
"I didn't want it to end this way.. but you leave me no choice."
Sabrina saying to Susan that the power was controlling her, and isn't even mad at her. Just wanting her to quit and snap out of it.
"This ends now, Susan. You can't control the power. The power is controlling you."
As if knowing she's not at complete fault for what happened, I wonder if Sabrina felt some guilt for seeing her friend end up this way and ultimately being the reason for her decent down a dark path.
"This isn't over! MARK MY WORDS! I WILL RECLAIM WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY MINE!"
"I told you, Susan. The power controlled you. You're powerless now."
Sabrina's soft voice at all times in the movie, in stark contrast to Susan's constant yelling. As if Susan's finally done with being ignored and wants people to see her, even if it's for a bad reason. Wouldn't be the first time she's done something like this due to those reasons.
Movie! Susan is ultimately a tragic character, one who went mad with power merely because she was ignored by the community and thought that book was the only way to finally get people to pay attention to her. And considering her canon counter part isn't treated much better, I think this is a reflection of character. No wonder Sabrina's whole spiel about helping the community and uniting them annoyed Susan so much.
For the message of the movie to be "unity concurs all", the one character who's actively been hurt by said community is the one left as the villain.
It would've been more fitting if Susan was redeemed too, like she realized that the community coming together does care about her and they could really use that "power of friendship" that the movie is trying to sell. Sabrina repeatedly even says the whole, "The power is using you. It controlled you." would've given some leeway for her to be redeemed. But apparently not, the message seemingly is, "The community unites together to defeat a villain of their own making." Nothing changed in the end, Susan's shop is left more abandoned than it ever was, representing how she was pushed to her limits. Now I get that she pursued that power, but if you consider how she's treated in the movie, it makes sense why she went there. Not that it justifies it, but it certainly make more sense of it. If that book really was meant to unite Bloxburg, then it fell into the wrong hands BECAUSE of how they treated Susan. They made her feel like nobody cared about her, and that book gave her a chance to make people see her. If they treated her nicely as the other stores in Bloxburg, then maybe she could've helped the community prosper even more. But that didn't happen. It did unite Bloxburg in a way, but not in the way Sabrina wanted, because it fell into the hands of the one person who was treated badly by everyone.
