1957 Ford Ranchero hot rod spotted at a local car show. I am totally going to make a 1/25 scale tribute using a Liberty Classics diecast Ranchero and parts bin everything else soon.

Sneak peek at my replica of an old neighbor's rust bucket Plymouth Duster that he owned and drove for decades, in 1/25 scale plastic. the corrosion and all that on the different areas is amazingly realistic.

Custom Hot Wheels 1931 Model A Ford hot rod. All work done by me using all original parts except for the M2 Machines Studebaker truck wheels/tires/axles, and weathered with repurposed/recycled, expired or cheap makeup powders in earthy tones. This is inspired by the 1940s and 1950s style of "go job" hot rodding that was for racing mainly but also served as regular transportation.

Another in period photo of an old Fiat in the United States, this time a 1965 Fiat 600D in Iowa circa 1970, with its proud owner standing by.

Rare in period photography of a US market (likely a John Edgar, Earle Anthony, or Roosevelt Motors import) 1958 Fiat 1100 Special 4-door sedan with a 1958 Ford Fairlane and what I believe is a 1930s Pierce-Arrow in the very background of a brick ranch house's garage and driveway. It is not often that we get to see in period footage of European and Japanese oddity cars in the United States other than in wrecks or junkyards or "mini stock" racing.

Shell of an extremely rare German luxury car from the 1960s, a Glas 3000 V8, built in Dingolfing by the Hans Glas Company and unfinished examples badged/titled as BMWs after the 1968 merger of BMW and Hans Glas. The Glas company initially made the famous Goggomobil microcar and even some tiny walk-in vans before making the ultimately fatal decision to make fully fledged cars with a novel but unreliable belt-driven overhead cam engine layout that was also an interference engine. Due to its Pietro Frua body design resembling that of the Maserati Sebring, it was nicknamed the "Glaserati" in period.

1970s War Bonnet Yellow, Rally wheeled C3 Corvette with custom fiberglass bodywork (appears to be an Ecklers or possible genuine John Greenwood widebody kit and Ecklers "Laguna" headlight kit, possibly an Ecklers hatchback conversion?) sitting tarpaulin-covered in a desolate industrial lot in a blighted section of town. I will not reveal its location or address.

Customized 1/25 scale Revell '77 Jeep CJ-7 built as a custom painted Levi Edition with oak wood bumpers, hard halfdoors, Warn winch, custom "Hush Thrush" exhaust system with block hugger headers, and no top. Due to limited detail and poor fit on the engine, the engine cover is permanently sealed.

Start on a 1/25 scale Revell USA 1985 Chevy K5 Blazer Custom Deluxe. This is being built as a used but not misused, factory brown with brown top and interior/rubber floormatting/tan seats, basic trim level classic SUV, with additions limited to parts-bin tires/wheels, a realistic spare tire inside so I can use the covered one on another project, and a CB receiver.
All paint so far is from a secondhand craft/art/hobby thrift shop, and the weathering is "ethnic" tone makeup from Dollar Tree repurposed as "red dirt", "clay dirt", "road dust" and "iron oxide" pigments.
Even after this little measly bit of work, I see that the comparisons to Mobius, Italeri and Tamiya etc. aren't baseless at all, quite apt on the contrary.
