Self-care: to help me destress during this pledge quarter I have started to hang out with friends. Friends make me less stressed.

So the question is what have I learned from pledge? I have learned many things from pledge for instance, I have learned to always persevere through adversity. I went through so much during pledge, such as getting dropped and going through a lot of tasks and arduous emails on a day-to-day basis, although it was hard at first, I realize that through persevering through adversity, I could learn how to be a better person, and also be as bright and smart as possible. Pledge has showed me that I am far more resilient than I had previously thought when I got dropped I thought that that would be the end of me, but when I really thought about it and saw all the love that I was given by my fellow, pledge brothers and sisters. I realized that I had way more in me than I had previously thought, I was far more dedicated to doing my tasks, drinking my water, posting my tumblers, to scheduling my interviews, and much much more. I also learned through pledge that I was capable of making friends with people. I had never thought I would be friends with exhibit a Alexander’s Chao. I thought that Alexander Chao would’ve been weird however Alexander Chao to be slightly less weird than I had thought another example would be Lauren, that would’ve been weird however, although she’s may be weird, she she also makes up for it by being kind of funny. Anyways, to sum it’s all up play has shown me that I am full of surprises. Thank you Tumblr for always being there for me when no one else was. I will truly miss at this pledge quarter and I will miss everything OK bye.

Reflection: got a fire ahh sleep. Will not be getting fire ahh sleep tn tho so sad :(. Anyways I’m currently watching real dancers perform in front of me and it’s motivating me to learn how to dance myself. They look hella good bro.

Reflection: had a great walk. It was cold and got some yogurt tho so it was chill. Pulled all nighter and slept during the day. Mad cool. Bye.

Self care: When I am feeling down, I like to listen to music. Specifically, calming old music like Al Green. His music really soothes the soul.

To be honest, I'm not completely sure what my role is in this pledge class. I want to say that I am able to alternate amongst roles, but for the most part I think I am just in that neutral zone. There are times where I have shown my capabilities of being a leader within this class, but there are also times where I feel like my sole role is to try and be the funny dude. I think part of that comes from trying to figure out how best to contribute to the group and where I fit in with everyone’s strengths and personalities.

I’ve realized that there’s no single “right” role to play, and in some ways, that’s actually a good thing. We all have our unique qualities and ways of contributing, and I’m still figuring out how mine fit into the larger picture. Sometimes, I’ll step up and take charge when needed, but other times I think my most valuable contribution is just showing up and being there for others, offering a laugh when things feel heavy or a word of support when someone needs it.

However, I think for the most part, I try to be the supportive person in our class. I want to be someone that my class can rely on in times of need. I want to be the person that others can count on when the workload gets overwhelming, when someone needs advice, or simply when they need to talk. I think that’s the role I naturally fall into—being the person who listens, who encourages, and who helps build the sense of camaraderie that keeps us all moving forward, especially when things get tough.

As we continue to move through this journey together, I hope I can continue to contribute in meaningful ways, whether that’s as a leader when needed, a source of humor when morale is low, or a reliable friend when things are uncertain. Ultimately, I want to be someone who helps bring us together as a class and supports everyone’s growth—because at the end of the day, that’s what truly matters.

Reflection: today was pretty exhausting. Had a pretty bad headache and napped for a long time. However, I am finally back home in Burbank! I missed my two cats and I think one of the two missed me as well (pictured below). I’m also hoping the barber shop I usually go to isn’t closed tmrw for Veterans Day cuz I need a haircut bad bru. Anyways yeah gn!
