nana knows that she should be talking to her boyfriend about this, but the truth was… embarrassing. to the point where the singer turned away, biting the inside of her lip to try and distract herself from the fact that she was not sure how to hide it all away. “probably… i don’t know. probably won’t have to know anyway.” she and ren had talked about death, sure, but it was all in ‘what-ifs’ anyway, comparing themselves to sid and nancy. “we’ve both got too much to do anyway, can’t die yet.” as for why she hadn’t texted back… “… um… about that… i… may have broken my phone…” again, but nana wasn’t really.sure how it had happened in the first place. just that she had reached to text nobu and her cell was in pieces. “sorry?”

yasu was used to this. hearing all the things that should be said to SOMEONE ELSE. he knew well enough that nana was comfortable talking to him about things without the embarrassment she would feel with other people. which was why he was always willing to listen. to let her get things off her chest that she would otherwise just shove deep down for no one to hear but herself. “you’re right, you have too many things to worry about death just yet. after all, we still have to get blast at NUMBER ONE and surpass trapnest, hmm?” he said with a chuckle. however, a sigh soon followed when she’d said she’d broken her phone, again. “you’re really clumsy, you know that?” yasu said shaking his head. he pulled his phone out of his pocket and handed it to her. “you can use mine, i’ll be sure to get you a NEW one soon.”

Ayame let out a soft hum, the idea of just having someone to talk to about all that went on within his family.. was appealing, and yet he hesitated. He could practically hear Hatori’s disapproving sigh. He couldn’t tell her everything, even if he so desperately wanted to, he was already pushing his luck with Mine knowing more than she should. Ayame would feel absolutely horrible if he was the reason Hatori had to erase another person’s memory. 

So he took a deep breath, offering a warm smile as he hid away most of his pain. “Well.. you see it’s a bit complicated. To be perfectly honest, I don’t have it nearly as bad as most of my family and so more often than not i’m just being.. over dramatic.” It was a vague enough truth, really the only thing he could offer without saying too much. 

“I don’t think you should COMPARE yourself to others in your family. Just because you did not suffer the same as them doesn’t make it mean it’s any less important. I can understand if you don’t wish to speak about it, I won’t press you if you don’t. But, you can always talk to me, or not. I’m here for whatever you need, even if it’s just COMPANY.” 

Kyoko is quick to offer with a shrug of her shoulders. She just wanted to be of help in whatever way she could. She didn’t know what he was dealing with or struggling with. But she would be here for him regardless of the fact that she hardly knew him. Sometimes all you need is someone WILLING to offer a helping hand, having someone willing to offer you kindness amongst it all. It had certainly helped her in her youth.

His words pull her out of her love struck daze and she considers what she had been thinking. Kyou was right they HADN’T discussed names for their babies. They hadn’t even thought to find out the genders at the time, they just wanted healthy children - especially after discovering they were having twins. (She remembered how hard it was on Isuzu when she had hers… but then Isuzu had a hard pregnancy all together with her weight and health issues. Kagura’s went far more smoothly.) But, “actually… I do have one name.” Kagura admitted, eyes lowering back to gaze at the knackered child.  “For him, you see… I’ve been thinking about how you… made your promise. You want to be as good a dad as Sensei, right?” She’s brimming as she recalls a name that she saw in a baby name’s book (yes, she stockpiled on them, too many to be honest!) “Hisashi. a long term intention, just like your promise - and the second meaning,” she gazes to her daughter and then back to her son, “always with you…” and again it’s like she can hear her own promise to always stay by Kyou’s side in childhood zoom through her ears.

Kyou wasn’t surprised that she’d already thought of baby names. He had expected as much from her. Knowing how much she wanted children and how eager she was about having them when she was expecting. His brows arched when she mentioned him wanting to be a good dad like Shishou, wondering where she was going with this. Then she’d suggested the name, and he can feel a wide grin tug at his lips as well as tears stinging in his eyes. 

“Hisashi--” He repeated with a nod of his head. He leaned in a pressed a kiss to the top of her head once more as well as one onto their son. “It’s PERFECT Kagura, I love it.” It really was the perfect name, it suited their son and loved the deep meaning behind it. “Hisashi loves it too, don’t you.” He chuckled as he pressed his fingers of his free hand into their son’s hand who made ( what he thought was approving ) gurgling sounds.
