Tonight's dinner: Roasted chicken wings with onions and garlic, seasoned with kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, olive oil, sweet soy sauce and Guilin chili sauce. Hulled barley boiled in homemade chicken broth and kosher salt. Seasoned with roasted garlic butter. Roasted butternut squash, drizzled with olive oil and seasoned with kosher salt, garam masala and cinnamon powder. Sauteed kale with crushed garlic, red pepper flakes and kosher salt in olive oil.

Today's lunch: Roasted chicken legs seasoned with kosher salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, garam masala and Jamaican curry. Roasted covered for 75 minutes and uncovered an additional 30 minutes. Drizzled with olive oil. Sides included: kale sauteed in olive oil with diced garlic, scallions, red onion, seasoned with kosher salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes and garlic powder; Roasted tater tots seasoned with kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Drizzled with olive oil and roasted uncovered at 375 for 90 minutes. A highly flavorful, very tasty meal. Mrs Taub said it was umm umm finger lickin good!

Curry chicken soup made with: Sauteed diced onions, garlic, carrots, celery, fresh corn kernels, frozen green peas, pink beans, butter beans and diced roasted Japanese sweet potatoes. Seasoned with kosher salt, black pepper, dried red hot peppers, garam masala and Jamaican curry. Three quarts of homemade broth. Chunks of skinless chicken thighs seasoned with kosher salt, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, paprika, garam masala and Jamaican curry. Browned in olive oil, then added to the soup pot and simmered.

Poached cod stew/soup. Made with diced scallions, red onions, red onion greens, and sliced garlic sauteed in olive oil. Seasoned with ginger, lemongrass and basil pastes; Guilin chili sauce, sweet soy sauce. Chunks of cod, butterbeans, frozen green peas, and sauteed broccoli florets poached in homemade broth. Served in a soup bowl over quinoa, caramelized onions and sauteed beans with kosher salt and garam masala.
