I'd be SO cool with that! Might be a little hard though. Yknow, I don't think anyone can really come in and out of here anymore! The Downside Up! It'd be sweet if you could, though! I mean, I've been keeping all of your guys's houses in tip-top shape! Even your empire (even though mine is better). And that sounds about right. You were always keeping us on our toes with all your pranks n stuff!!

Maybe I could even meet some of your new friends sometime!

Grian!! My old pal! Hopefully this gets to you, how're you doing!!!! Wish I could come and visit but, yknow. I'm just sooo busy... its a shame!!!

[ the letter says on his desk for longer than he'll ever admit. he'd read it, set it down and promptly walked right out. back in his early hermitcraft days, grian would imagine what his reaction would be if he ever heard from taurtis again. he thought he'd be overwhelmed and like he usually does when the Feelings get too much, he'd make a fuss about it. ]

[ there's none of that now. the opposite really. it's just this constant white noise buzzing in his ears. the same kind of stifling silence after a life game, when the voices faded and he was left to sit in the memories. ]

taurtis, it's good to hear from you! :) i've been doing alright. been building a lot, still exploding things here and there... same old shenanigans, just different players! and that is a shame. real big shame. the hermitcraft server has been open to visitors for a few months now, if you ever happen to have free time in that busy schedule of yours. what've you been doing anyway?

[ The Downside Up wasn't a very eventful place. Literally. Nothing happened. It was like playing on a singleplayer server that you could never leave. ]

[ He'd made a habit of walking around the server aimlessly. Sometimes he'd pretend it was his first time seeing everything again- he'd act amazed at all the buildings and structures. The 'excitement' never lasted long. He was sick of purple, which was a shame because the entire world was tinted in that colour. Other times he'd sit and doodle pictures of past friends, trying to capture their faces which he couldn't quite remember properly. That or sending letters to them - which, he wasn't even sure they were being delivered until he got responses. ]

[ And, he'd also gotten into the habit of talking to Sitruat. The inverted figure of himself he wasn't even entirely sure was real, that followed him around most days. It spoke backwards so he never understood what it was saying, when it rarely did speak. Essentially he was just talking to himself. Well, literally, actually. He'd talk about anything and everything, whatever he could think of! ]

[ So, yeah. Real busy guy! Real lonely guy. ]

[ It takes a little while for a response letter to be sent back - only a few days at best (which was probably quite impressive considering where it was being sent from). One does come, though. It's not the finest quality, but he sort of has to make do with what he has. ]

Good to hear that nothings changed!!! And me?? Well, y'know. Just at home! At the Taurtis Republic. Added some pretty cool stuff - like my extra-extreme new rollercoaster. It's kinda lonely here, so maybe if I find a way to visit, I can put that on my to-do list!!! Also - Hermitcraft?? Wow!!! I remember when you used to talk about that all that time, how much you wanted to join and how cool it was!!! Good for you, man!

[ A damaged letter made with frail paper is found in your mailbox! It's sealed with what looks to be just glue, nothing fancy, and the writing inside is just a little wonky. ]
