One thing I really need the movie fans to know about the Green Lanterns is that the rings are drawn to and powered by their willpower, Green Lanterns are quite literally the most stubborn beings in the entire univese. They regularly revolt against their bosses.

Imagine you put the most stubborn assholes you've ever met into one room, and they all unanimously decided they would die for each other. And the worst part is that they're all pretty damn smart, too.

idea: a nun rock band called the nunchucks and it’s just a bunch of nuns who really like to play rock music and the lead singer is doing cool tricks with nunchucks the whole time and at the end of the show they pick a volunteer to attack with the nunchucks in the name of rock n roll

The main difference between the weather being uncomfortably cold, and the weather being uncomfortably hot, is that the things you can do in the cold to warm yourself up (hot food/beverage, blankets, cuddles, nice clothes like sweaters, thick scarves and snazzy jackets, getting exercise) are very pleasant and very effective, and the things you can do in the heat to cool yourself down don't do shit.
