so many of you have never been 26 or 27. well one day you will. this is not a threat this is a promise. or maybe both. it will be fine, is what i’m saying. and then comes 28
Speaking from years of personal experience it is very hard to feel like it's worth it to clean anything when you're at a level of executive dysfunction where you consistently can't maintain a clean room or personal hygiene. But just trying to keep the area you spend the most time in somewhat tidy will make things SO much easier for you, even if this just means moving the mess somewhere else. It's very difficult to get on track when people expect that as soon as you WANT to fix things you immediately throw yourself completely into keeping everything perfect and that just isn't something you feel like you can do. If you start with figuring out what to prioritize and just trying to maintain that it will be a lot easier to build that up to "normal"
There's a bunch of adhd advice out there that's like "people with adhd tend to work better under deadlines due to the anxiety so here are ways to artificially induce a stress response in order to get you to get work done" and it's like well what if I don't want to be stressed out all the time in order to function
i think that “people with limited mobility or ability to leave their homes deserve the same access to goods and services via home delivery” and “the exploitation of workers through gig delivery apps is Bad” are two sentiments that can and should exist simultaneously in the brains of like… anyone with the capacity to think lmao
