On August 28th I will be seeing my girl @taylorswift in Detroit, Michigan for the 5th time! SEC: 221 ROW: ADA SEATS: 11 & 12 This will most likely be my last concert because of my declining health. I am 30 years old with Cystic Fibrosis and I’m at end stage. I have 21% lung function. I’ve had dozens of surgeries and I take about 60 pills a day just to stay “healthy”. My organs are slowly failing me. Of course it all gets me down once in a while. It hurts to know your dreams will never come true, I’ll never get married, have children, own a home, everything my friends are doing. But hoping my one dream of meeting @taylorswift will come true!! You must pick yourself up and dust the bad off because life is too short to be sad or angry all the time. Always look for the good in life! It’s all around us! No matter what emotion I am feeling there’s a @taylorswift song that will help me in some way! I owe Taylor the biggest hug for helping me get through some of the roughest times of my life. I NEED her to know how important she is to me and that her music saves me! PLEASE reblog this and tag Taylor! So many fans have reached out to me and have shared my story on other platforms. This is my best friend Joe. He’s wheelchair bound and hasn’t had the easiest life but he’s the kindest person I know who despite everything always has a smile on his face. His idol, his hero is Taylor Swift and I know it’s his dream to meet her. I’m desperately trying to arrange a meet and greet for him for the shows at Wembley this weekend. I know it would mean the world to him and he deserves a magical moment more than anyone I know. He turned 26 this month and he celebrated it by going to see Taylor in Manchester. He’s an absolute legend and I’m forever in awe of how independent he is going to these things, often on his own. I’m in a wheelchair too and his infectious joy for life never stops him doing what he wants to do, whereas I often let fatigue or pain get the better of me. He’s totally relentless. If anyone out there can do anything to help arrange an invite to the Rep Room or can point me in the right direction or if any of Taylor’s management can help me out, I can’t put into words how grateful I’d be and how much of a life changing experience it would be for Joe. @taylorswift @taylornation
