it’s october 18th 2018 which marks a year since the reputation secret sessions rhode island. the woman who’s molded my life so much and has made me who i am today, i couldn’t meet her. instead of it being one year of meeting taylor, it’s one year of me not, and that always hurts me. i always get questions on why. i wasn’t able to attend because there was nobody able to get off work and drive me all the way there. i was so sure i would go because i assumed it would be in new york. the night before, i was in my shower, playing cold as you, listening to the lyrics and it hit me. it hit me that i wasn’t going to meet taylor swift the next day. i cried my heart out, cried like i’ve never cried before. i felt the pain in my chest and the pit of my stomach. i couldn’t even catch a breath through sobbing. never felt that way before, never cried that way before. i was a mess. i waited all day to post this secret and i was getting lots of messages. i ended falling asleep. when i got to school i decided to reply back to your guy’s sweet messages, i’m scrolling and scrolling AND THERE WAS TAYLOR SWIFT????? i could not believe my eyes. i couldn’t believe she messaged me saying she loved me and that i was wonderful and that we’d “make it happen some other time” AND she promised. seeing everybody and anybody meet taylor always makes me so happy and reminds me that one day it’ll be me. i love you so much babygirl, you have my heart💓

one last thought… from the journals and from what taylor has recently said about stalkers… i used to love getting candids, seeing her street style is always cool, but i honestly would like to NEVER see those again if it gives her more of a peace of mind. people need to STOP following her everywhere, STOP trying to track her down, and STOP trying to find out every single detail of her life. just let her share the parts she chooses to share and enjoy them, and thats it.

On a serious note: putting this at the end, as I imagine most people won’t be reading this far. Some of you might already know this, but in short, my family and I have traveled to see Taylor 18x in various cities across the USA, since the Fearless Tour. We’re big on merch, and we love going all out with signs and costumes at every tour. And while I didn’t think much of this when I was say 14 years old - now that I have grown up, graduated college and work my own job - I’ve come to realize just how much of a privilege it is to be both geographically and financially capable of enjoying such activities. And I try to understand the perspectives of fans with limitations, who do not have access to certain experiences, yet have to watch others post about their merch + perks. So I hope this giveaway will improve the experience for just one swiftie out there, who wouldn’t otherwise be able to own these items.
