Just in time for his birthday, have another Kira drawing! This was a fun piece to take my time on- a little here, a bit there when I didn’t have much else to do. As always, we have the Bowie reference. 

I just like googly-eyeing the guy. Can’t help it, I have a type, and that type is bad, bad fictional person with sharp cheekbones and a passively sassy attitude problem.

“I can’t answer why, just go with me.” Last time I drew the Starman was almost 2 years ago- yesterday seemed like a great time to watch the Blackstar video and do it again. I wanted to stick with the sharp lines and angles of the first one, but the color palette was a whole 180! We went from bright, vivid colors for 1997 Bowie, and a neutral palette here to match the eerie, ominous feeling of the video. Very happy with how he turned out!

I need to hang out on here more, even when I don’t have any new doodles to share. But...what if...what if I make *FRIENDS?!* I shudder at the thought. (I kid, art friends are great, always need more art friends.)

So I, uh, kinda forgot I had this thing. Seriously. To the point where I was going through stuff, and am BAFFLED by how much my art has improved since my last post!

Hi, I'm Tay, and a I shamelessly slapped poor Jotaro and baby Jolyne into an Adam Sandler scene. At 2am. Because it had me in tears laughing.

I also firmly believe that he grew his hair out in the early-mid '90s, like all of the other curly-haired men in my life at the time.

Tried something a bit different from the usual, while still drawing the usual. Pleasantly surprised by how he turned out, and it was a lot of fun to work on!
