the secret history is so wild. like there's a hundred different analysis essays you could write about it and it's meaning and whatnot. but there's also a genius who thinks of elaborate ways to kill someone but didn't know or believe that the moon landing happened. they pull off the murder of their classmate and don't get caught. they try to hit a wasp with a prayer book during said classmate's funeral service. the unreliable narrator does cocaine in a burger king parking lot. said unreliable narrator lives in a hippie's house that has a hole in the roof in a vermont winter and doesn't realize it's literally killing him. the absolute hilarious unhinged energy from this book is overshadowed by a writing style where the most batshit things seem almost mundane. i love it.

Taylor Come Back To Europe Project: Portugal’s week.

Hi there!

So, as a little explanation before we start: last January I created on Twitter an account called @Europe _ Loves _ TS in order to try to get Taylor back to Europe. It works this way: each week is dedicated to one different country, this one’s being Portugal, and each day I post different stuff about the country, Taylor’s charts there, where she could play and that kind of stuff. I started posting this week because it took me quite a long to finish with all of the preparations but now it has already started, and Day 6 (a.k.a. Tumblr and sign the petition) is about posting everything done on Twitter but on Tumblr, that’s why the texts will be really little. okay so i posted the song on my snapchat story saying how excited i was and how much i love it (of course) and someone replied and said

“what the heck that just came out like 3 minutes ago”

i replied with “actually no shade but it came out 51 minutes ago and i would’ve posted it a lot sooner but i was too busy reminding myself to breathe” (i was FREAKING OUT you would’ve thought i was on somethin)

then he replied again as if I WOULDN’T KNOW and said “i’m pretty sure it just came out”

this brought out my die hard taylor fan side of me so i replied with “YOU DON’T THINK I WOULD KNOW?! YOU DON’T THINK I’VE BEEN STARING AT THIS COUNTDOWN FOR 13 DAYS STRAIGHT AND IMPATIENTLY WAITING FOR 9:00 PM ON APRIL 25TH?!” (that’s when the song came out for me)

-The Casa de Campo park, which is the largest park in the city, and it also has the Madrid Zoo inside.

“I started to be a Swiftie by the end of the RED era, when I saw the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” video, by the end of 2013 (yes, I know that I saw the video a bit late). I don’t know why but I realized that Taylor is the only one that can help me with my depression (unfortunately I suffer a lot of depression) and put a huge smile on my face just with her songs. She means the entire world to me. While I was studying in high school, I worked as a teacher for another students, and I started saving money to be able to go one day to any Taylor’s concert. And finally, after two years of saving money, on November 29 2017 (the day after my birthday), I bought two tickets for the “reputation Stadium Tour” in London, one for me and one for my sister. After seven months the day finally came and I traveled from Spain to London just to see Taylor for the first time. That was my first concert. That day I realized that Taylor is a real angel, and that she is always going to be there for us. And also I’m so grateful since because of her I met a lot of new friends. My dream is to one day be able to hug her and tell her how much she helped me, and also I would ask her if she could draw a thirteen on my ankle, because I always wanted to get a thirteen tattooed on my body. I remember that night as the best night of my life, and I can’t explain how happy and free and loved I felt there. I saw Taylor Swift’s magic happening in front of me, and I will be forever grateful for that.”

Spain has a very big Swiftie fan base. Its biggest fan account, @rincondetaylor on Twitter, counts with over 12.3K followers, still growing. When she came, she sold out, and the fandom wasn't as big as it is now.

Spain is an amazing country, with big stadiums for Taylor to play and her presence still very active on the radios of the country. Although she hasn't come back since the "Speak Now World Tour", she is still breaking records.

Also, Barcelona and Madrid are the best places to host the show, not only because they have the enough capacity to but also because of the easiness to go to both of the places.

Theory: The music video for Me! reveals the themes for her other tracks

So, in a recent interview, Taylor Swift revealed that the entire song and music video is an easter egg that will slowly unravel itself as time goes on. I believe that the music video actually alludes to songs on the new album. The video is split into distinctive “cuts” which I believe foreshadows her upcoming album. I’m going to go through the video and share my beliefs on what the songs are going to be about based on the music video for Me! @taylorswift @taylornation @brendonurie

Album Title: Kaleidoscope / Daisy / 13 / Lover

Songs: 14

Track Themes:

1 - Track 1 (Metamorphosis) will be about Taylor moving on from her reputation and becoming herself again. In scene 1, we see Taylor’s snake “poof” into butterflies, signifying a transformation. It may be called “Metamorphosis”. 

2 - Track 2 (The Language of Love / Love Language / Home) will deal with the realities of a relationship - the Honeymoon phase is over and it’s time to focus on what it actually takes to make a relationship work. This is evidenced by Scene 2’s fight between Taylor and Brendon. The fact that it’s in French, the “language of Love”, means that love will win in the end. 

Also, this could be the rumored track, “Home”, due to the Christmas tree in the background calling back to Taylor’s childhood living on a Christmas Tree farm. Despite it being a seemingly Spring day, the Christmas tree stands out. In fact, Taylor herself says that “I really love Christmas, I wish it was all year round, just like for the feeling that everybody has.”

3 - Track 3 will be Me! Why? Because, Scene 3 starts in the hallway and the first thing that happens is Taylor starts singing “Me!”

4 - Track 4 will be a bit more heavy. I believe this song will involve Taylor taking responsibility for her actions. We see Taylor walking through storm clouds while acknowledging that she has made mistakes.

5 - Track 5, as always, will be vulnerable. This scene starts when Taylor “steps into the daylight” and “lets it (the drama) go”. This track will be about releasing drama and finding out who you really are.

6 - Track 6 (Glitter) will be a magical track like Wonderland. Like something from Mary Poppins, this scene starts when Brendon jumps out of the window and floats down with an umbrella. It’s going to be track that gives you whimsical vibes.

7 - Track 7 (Lover) will be a return to the realities of relationships, but in a way that’s more about someone who refuses to leave when things get hard. It’s this scene where she sings “And then we had that fight out in the rain, you ran after me and called my name.”

This line references back to the lead single from Speak Now, Mine, where she sang, “I remember that fight, 2:30 AM, everything was slipping right out of our hands. I ran out crying and you followed me out into the street. Braced myself for the goodbye, ‘cause it’s all I’ve ever known, but you took me by surprise, and said I’ll never leave you alone.”

This track may be called “Lover” based on the Neon sign in the background.

8 - Track 8 will be a song about truly knowing someone. Brendon repeatedly attempts to give her gifts - flowers, a ring, then finally, a cat. It’s not until she is offered the cat that she knows the person she’s with truly knows who she is and what she likes.

9 - Track 9 will be a pure love song. This scene starts when Brendon opens his shirt and opens his heart, literally. We travel down a “Kaleidoscope” of love.

10 - Track 10 will be a groovy, 60’s-style love song, It may play on the theme of being so in love with someone that it’s as if Cupid has shot you with an arrow.

11 - Track 11 will be a song for us, the fans. After the initial dancing in front of the Cupid band, there is an extremely heavy focus on the audience. They show scenes of them screaming and jumping, just like Taylor’s own fans.

12 - Track 12 (Awesome) will be a pure fun song about just enjoying life for what it is - similar to songs like 22. This scene starts with Taylor shouting “Hey kids! Spelling is fun!” which Taylor claims was meant to show that Me! was meant to be a fun love song. Also, this is where they sing “You can’t spell Awesome without Me!”

13 - COWBOY DISCO! White cowboy boots? Check! Disco lights and 60’s dancing? Check!

14 - Finally, track 14 will be about Taylor having found a way to love life even in the midst of problems and exploding paint. She’s finally found that life will always have chaos and that you just have to dance anyway.
