we were brainwashed for so long as a fandom to believe the extreme level of privacy taylor and her partner kept at the time was normal and now look, she wears her happiness on her face finally.

i think it’s also just like. she has all this without compromising any of that. they’re mega private. that doesn’t mean they have to hide away and go to great pains to avoid being seen though. posting photos like this does nothing to compromise that privacy. that’s the distinction!

Also, I think the last two years of freely going wherever they want together and being seen many times where it didn’t turn into that big of a deal was probably a bit shocking to Taylor after the extremes that she had gone to to not be seen in public in the years prior and the false sense that it was necessary in order to live a normal life because of what being seen could somehow cause.

no it was sort of like exposure therapy by brute force KFJDKDJDJ like obviously that’s not why she did it but i think it did have the same effect at the end of the day 😭

From the little we know and see it’s so obvious they have such clear boundaries on when they feel ok being a little more public and when they feel they need to take a step back for a little. A very healthy thing to have!

i also think they're just very good at talking about that stuff and making those decisions together? seems like it's the most natural thing in the world to discuss how they are feeling and evaluate, adjust, etc accordingly
