Rezanii and Faustino try to create a chicken dish from their childhood. To varied results.

Hi I am unwell over Rapport.

Iris called ART her sibling!! She said "our" dads!! I keep thinking about ART's life, how it's beginning was so different to Murderbot's. ART was raised knowing safety, emotional and physical. Murderbot was created by a cruel institution and treated with immense brutality. I feel like throughout Rapport we can feel ART reflecting on this, on Murderbot, on the new understanding of trauma it gave it.

And then when ART is the one brutalized? Deleted, made helpless, forced to watch its family stolen from it?

It tells the Targets how to find Murderbot. Because it trusts Murderbot, trusts it to save it and its crew and trusts it with ART in this very vulnerable state.

(And also, now I keep thinking about Murderbot's comment in System Collapse that Iris is ART's Ratthi??? I love all of these entities I love them so much)

Today is my mom's birthday and Murderbot is her Sanctuary Moon (and mine too, I will be completely honest) and we reread the series every few months (at least).

The last episode of the tv show drops at midnight.

So to celebrate her birthday, we're having a watch party of the entire series with the aim that we'll hit midnight when we finish episode 9 and will be able to watch episode 10.

I used to hate deep frying things because monitoring the oil temperature was wildly annoying. So I’d either overcrowd it, not measure the temperature, or otherwise make a horrible mistake.

In Chapter 2, you get the chance to meet with the ambassadors again, this time asking for help.

At first we thought to block the ability to meet with anyone you really offended. But that's no fun. So now you have the chance to insult and/or threaten to invade someone and then ask them for help a few hours later.
