Yes, it's been a lot harder than I thought, but I've nearly built enough of a buffer to resume publication, hopefully by this time next month.

The only reason I can't guarantee it is because the Webtoon staff have their own schedule to consider, which could postpone things further, but I will keep everyone posted as soon as I have a definitive date!

Hello! Hope you are doing good, as well as your work on "Blacksmith" ^^ if that would be ok, I'd like to ask you a lore question regarding Apocalyptic Horseplay:

I am in process of making some fan characters to this setting, and one of them is supposed to have a deal with the devil, selling his soul in exchange for immortality; so the question is — can any demon have a deal with a human, or is this privilege available to Lucifer and Lucy only? And do they suggest deals in order to get something else with the soul, or the soul itself is enough?

Alright, I think I can answer that. This will be specific to the UndeadEd/Apocalyptic Horseplay lore of course.

So first of all, only the Devil has the (formerly angelic) power to grant favors to mortals, meaning that any and all deals must be approved by him. Second, as far as Mr. D is concerned, the offering of one's soul is of notable value, but only if the owner of said soul was well on his or her way to be claimed by Heaven at the time of making the deal, meaning that any major sinner offering his or her soul in exchange for supernatural favors would most likely be denied (since their soul is already marked to be claimed by the Devil anyway). He might however make an exception if the favor granted by the deal is projected to impact and/or corrupt another more tantalizing prize.

As for the deals themselves, and while the Devil is known for offering luck, fame and fortune, the granting of actual superhuman powers (such as immortality or witchcraft) would require a LOT MORE than one's soul. The only way such a deal would be granted is if the subject is also vowing to directly and actively SERVE the forces of evil while on Earth, to be entrusted with tasks and missions that real demons cannot achieve, just like Lady Babel was tasked with serving the "Metatron" while acting as a double-agent within the Council.

In short, for one particular individual in this world to be granted immortality by the Devil himself, they'd have to be making themselves VERY VERY useful to him from that point on. Hope that helps!

I had nearly forgotten all about those designs, and now I am OBSESSED WITH THEM. Bien hecho!

Well, they are not official characters (as far as I know) in the comic but I really liked that one drawing that @tboredman made of them.

I was wondering what they were doing nowadays and I made these drawings.

I imagine that Heather (Health) is super popular nowadays, but at the same time she suffers because people do things that are the norm for a truly healthy life. (Dangerous diets, dubious products, etc.)

Abby (Abundance) must be up to her neck in work, producing more and more! completely forgetting about the third world where they really need her.

Polly (Peace)... well I really don't know what would become of her, she just misses the 70's where she was in high demand.

And finally, Life, she surely continues with her work, despite how crazy the world is nowadays.

I like to imagine that in their past, they were sworn rivals of the horsemen , however now they are more like "friendnemies" who, although they do not understand each other 100%, understand that they need each other to be who they are.

Their individual relationship with each of the horsemen is something I still have not resolved hehehe.
