Today I redesigned and flatcolored Bunnix. I also changed her name, her weapon, and her power. Bunnix got me real salty when I first saw her because she looks nothing like a rabbit besides the ears and her name is freaking lame. Yes, I know the actual spelling is Bunnyx but I refuse to spell it that way because it makes it more stupid. I originally went with Alix’s hair color but it stood out too much and it made it real obvious who it was behind the mask because there’s literally no one else with her hair color in the entire show so I changed it to match better. Yes, she has heelys. Her name is Jax and her weapon is jacks from the game Jacks. Jax is play on Jack, as in Jack Rabbit, because you know your girl Alix wants to be cool as possible. Everything about her is supposed to show just how cool she feels and how confident she is. She also has the ball from the Jacks game that she uses to make portals that aren’t time portals. It’s basically just the horse power which would have fit the rabbit much better in my opinion and the time travel is so overpowered as an adult and so useless as a kid with the 5 minute thing. XD Hope you like her. <3

What is Miraculous Bonds?

This is a fan community project working together to create a Miraculous Ladybug themed visual novel. It will be entirely volunteer led, with all kinds of skills being necessary. 

The idea is to start with a unique storyline, focusing on one week, leading up to the anniversary of Emilie Agreste’s disappearance which leads to Hawkmoth/Papillon becoming especially desperate. The player chooses to play as Marinette or Adrien, and the specifics of the events that occur will be determined by their choices. 

The focus of this initial story line will be friendship and some adventure, rather than romance (aside from canon-typical stuff, but nothing serious). Depending on the player’s choices there will be a good, neutral, or bad ending. The visual novel will contain some amount of animation during the cut-scenes in addition to the typical series of images. 

Once we finish and release the base project we have ideas to implement DLCs featuring dating options and possibly playing from the POV of an OC Student.

What positions do you need filled?

As of now, we need artists, writers, coders, and sound artists of all varieties.

How do I apply?

By filling out this Google Form!

What happens if I get accepted?

You’ll be invited to join our Discord server where everyone can communicate about the certain tasks needing to be done for the visual novel.

What if I just want to follow the developments of this project? 

Then please follow this Blog for updates! Also, please spread the word about this fan project as we hope to get lots of great fans in the community to help us out or get hyped about our project!

What art style will this project use?

2D art style inspired by the original PV (Preview Video) for Miraculous!

How close to canon will this Visual Novel be?

Since this is a fan project and the show is still releasing new episodes we’ve decided to have the placement of this Visual Novel be somewhere between Seasons 1 and 2 and follow our own set of Visual Novel universe rules.

What program will you be using for the game?

The game is being made using Ren’Py! So if you have previous experience with this program or even Python in general please consider joining our coder team.

Will there be original music?

We hope to get some talented people on our team in order to create some original pieces, but we also have a talented member who has recreated Miraculous Ladybug classics into musical box versions.

Will there be voice acting?

Yes! Though we will allow players the option to keep the voice acting on or off. When we get closer to incorporating sound pieces for the game we will open auditions. (This will still be a while as we’re still only in the beginning stages of production.)

Okay, so I've drawn Felix and PV Plagg. I've draw PV Tikki with CGI Tikki. Now, to complete the PV set I have drawn... BRIDGETTE! I absolutely love Bridgette, just so everyone is clear. There's a reason I drew her on mother's day, only a tiny reason. She's very motherly, from what little we know about her character so I really had the urge to draw her today and I love how she turned out. It is thanks to some help from my friends on Ladybug PV discord that I was able to complete her. I love her SO much! I can't believe how well she turned out!

Guys, I made a really pretty sketch and I’m crying. I don’t even know how. I just wanted to draw Adrien and Chat next to each other and instead of being the same dude, they are two seperate dudes who are best buds. I’ve had this AU for a while and just really wanted to draw it. In a world where Adrien has to be the voice of reason and chase Chat around to help him out of danger while also trying to juggle his overbearing schedule and his huge freaking crush on a girl. Sounds awesome and that’s why I wanted to draw it. XD
