Doggy Legacy Challenge
Doggy Legacy Challenge
Created by Christiantm on Youtube!:)
Calling all animal lovers! I’ve created a new legacy challenge called the How ‘Bout Doggy legacy! In excitement and love for the new expansion pack that’s about to come out “Cats And Dogs” I created this legacy! Your goal is to make it through six generations of sims themed off of certain dog breeds. Each sim just has to have the personality that is similar to the dog, and try and give them some sort of accessory or feature that represents the dog. They must also have the dog that is specific to that generation (and for the 5th generation they must have a cat). Depending on what breed you’re on that will determine the rules you have to follow and the traits that you must use. As you get further into the legacy it will not only be about the cats and dogs expansion, but more about fun game play over all. This is so that it’s a fun challenge that allows you to experience the whole game while you play with your new family while also getting to experience the new pack!
First Generation The heir is based off of a Husky. Huskies have lots of energy and are very motivated to do what they want when they want. This generation is to really allow you to get to experience the new expansion pack before delving into other aspects of the game and getting more attached to the family. - They must start off on a 64 x 64 lot. You will remain on this lot for the whole legacy. - They must purchase the lot that they will run the vet off of. - If there is any leftover funds after buying their home lot and the vet lot they must spend it all on building the vet until they have basically 0 simoleons. - They must start their young adult life with only one Husky. - They must have the Friend of the animals aspiration and complete it before death. -They must have the Dog Lover trait, and the Self Assured trait. - They must run their own pet clinic and get it to the highest level it can reach before their death. After this generation you must have the significant other or another child that is not the heir help to run the clinic throughout the rest of the series although it may not be the main focus anymore. - They must have at least two children but no more than four because their main focus is running the vet. - They must master the charisma skill (If pet training skill/ vet skill is included they must also master that). - They must have at least five Huskies throughout their sim life. They may come from breeding with other breeds but they have to be at least part husky. Second Generation The heir is based off of a Lab. They are very good around kids, love all people, and are just nice dogs in general. If they set their mind to something they can achieve anything! They always want to be surrounded by plenty of people to play with. They are not motivated by wealth but more by the interactions they have with people throughout their life, and the legacy they leave behind. - They must have the Big Happy Family aspiration and complete it before death. - They must have the Outgoing trait and the Active trait. - Once they turn into a young adult they must get their first ever Labrador. - Their first ever boyfriend/ girlfriend that they have will be their forever soulmate. - They have to have 7 CHILDREN! - They must enter the politician career and eventually go on to reach level 10 of the charity organizer aspect of it. (If city living isn’t owned you could make them join the entertainment career but it won’t be the same storyline wise). - They have to reach level 10 in six different skills before they become an elder. - You can only purchase items after it is time to pay the bills. And Every time that they pay their bills they may only have an additional 2,000 simoleons for spending left over. The rest must be donated to charities each time they pay the bills. They have to continue this until they either reach level 10 of their career or become an elder. - They must have at least seven labs throughout their sim life. They may come from breeding with other breeds but they have to be at least part lab. (Meant to be one lab that sort of grows up with each child they have).
Third Generation The heir is based off a Rottweiler These dogs are generally stereotyped as big bad wolves that are mean and scary, but from having one I know that is completely not true! They grew up always having to fight for what they wanted because of having so many siblings. They really never got to show their true self (or maybe they just don’t know how to), but instead are based a little more on their “tough” outer appearance. Although, deep down they are truly confused about how they feel because they don’t ever get to show how they feel, so they’re going to have some love issues… - They must have the Serial Romantic Aspiration and complete it before death. - They must have the romantic trait, the Active trait, and the noncommittal trait. - Once they reach young adulthood they must get their first ever Rottie. - They must have two jobs that they reach at least the fourth promotion on and then their third job will be in the fitness career where they will reach level 10. - They will only have two children because they hated having to grow up in the shadows of their older siblings, and although they really only planned on one, the second one is going to come from one of their many boyfriends! - They must have each kid from two different men. - They must have a level 10 fitness skill and a level 10 charisma skill before they die. - They will be very strict on both of their children because they have enough going on as it is in their life without their kids being bad. The kids must both have A’s in school. - They must have at least four Rottweilers throughout their sim life. They may come from breeding with other breeds but they have to be at least part Rottie. Fourth Generation The heir is based off a Poodle Although many Poodles may be perfectly trimmed and proper this Poodle has had enough of that when he/she grew up in a very strict household. The heir has gone a little more to the creative and free spirited vibes and wants to live their life their own way. That also will include no love life for a while because they are so sick and tired of their parent always bringing around new love interests all the time. They want to truly express themselves as some Poodles do with their colorful hair and spunky personalities. - They must have the Painter Extraordinaire aspiration and complete it before death. - They must have the creative, unflirty, and art lover traits. - Once they reach young adulthood they must get their first ever poodle. - They must work in the painter career and reach promotion level 10. - They must reach level 10 in the painting skill, the writing skill, and the music skill before death. - Throughout their whole life they must always have their hair being a different colorful color. They want to truly express themselves now since they felt like they were slightly suppressed throughout their childhood. - They may only have a boyfriend/ girlfriend throughout their whole young adult stage. They can not get married or have any children until they are an adult. - They have to have 3 children. They soon realized once they turned into an adult that they really do actually want a family and just because their parent made their childhood so harsh doesn’t mean they don’t want a family of their own. They’re going to have to go very quickly as it’s a race to have all three of these kids before they turn into an elder! - They have to become best friends with all three of their kids because they want to make up for the bad relationship that they had with their parents. - They must have at least six Poodles throughout their sim life. They may come from breeding with other breeds but they have to be at least part Poodle. Fifth Generation The heir is based off a Pug. Pugs love to play, but they also love to just be cuddled and be lazy. This Pug grew up with older parents and had a very laid back, easy childhood. Their parents loved them more than anything and were their best friends. Because of this they didn’t really do much as a child and didn’t really have many friends. Instead they more often stayed inside, played video games, and they ate lots of food. They became much more introverted except around their family because those were the only people they ever spent time with. They’ve never dated someone before and they trust people very easily, and would make friends with them very quickly if they weren’t so shy in the first place. - In order to make the challenge more challenging again at the start of their adulthood you must give them a smaller house more similar to a starter home and deplete any money they may have had down to 5k simoleons. - They must have the computer whiz Aspiration and complete it before death. - They must have the loner trait, the lazy trait, and the geek trait. - They must get their first ever Pug once they reach young adulthood. - They must only meet one boyfriend/ girlfriend and jump into the marriage very quickly after they meet. - They have to be pregnant by the time of their marriage. They are rushing their life with their new SO because they want to make sure their children can have more fun and be more active than they were. - They must have four children. - All the kids will be forced to do after school activities and hang out with friends rather than spending more time with the parents. - They must be in the tech guru career track and reach level 5 before soon realizing they like food better than computers. Than they will join the culinary career and attempt to reach level 10 promotion before death. - They must max the gaming skill, the programming skill, and the cooking skill all to level 10. - They must have at least 8 pugs throughout their sim life. They may come from breeding with other breeds but they have to be at least part pug
Sixth Generation The heir is based off a cat - Must have the master of Mischief Aspiration and complete it before death. - Must have the mischievous trait, the kleptomaniac trait, and the cat lover trait. - They must start off their young adult life with getting their first ever cat. - Throughout their life they must own a total of 20 cats. Whether they are breed or adopted. - They must master the Mischief skill, the comedy skill, and the cooking skill. - They must go into the scientist career branch to eventually max it out and become a mad scientist that is almost a little bit evil. - Must have only one child - Once that child is a teen/ adult, the heir must divorce their spouse and live on their own with their child and adopt as many cats as possible and live out their days as a old crazy cat lady that goes around pranking everyone and causing mayhem.
After the sixth generation you have completed the How ‘Bout Doggy legacy challenge! If you do make it this far thank you so much for choosing my legacy challenge and I really hope you had fun!:D
